Mack Brown is a college football legend – a College Football Hall of Famer, two-time Coach of the Year and BCS National Champion – and will be the featured speaker at the 15th Annual Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Kickoff Dinner on Monday, August 18.
Individual tickets to the event are on sale for $50 apiece, and a table of eight is $400. Tickets can be purchased by clicking the button below or calling the Bowl office at (318) 221-0712. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for a cocktail hour and dinner buffets will open at 6:15 p.m. The program will begin at 7 p.m. with a Q&A to conclude.

The Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl is set to host their Inaugural High School Football Media Day, presented by Jimmy Granger Ford, on Wednesday, August 6 at Independence Stadium.
“We think this is a tremendous opportunity to promote and support the incredible high school football programs and student-athletes we have all throughout Northwest Louisiana,” said Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Director of Communications Erik Evenson. “We hope this event will uncover some of the great stories about those athletes and assist our local media, who work so tirelessly to tell these stories, in their coverage of these programs and athletes.”
The Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl High School Football Media Day, presented by Jimmy Granger Ford, will promote up to 35 high school football teams from Caddo, Bossier, Bienville, Claiborne, DeSoto, Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine and Webster Parishes. The high schools in those Parishes will be invited to participate and bring the head coach and select student-athletes to the event.
Media representatives can apply for credentials at RadianceTechnologiesIndependenceBowl.com/HS-FB-Media-Day. Credential requests must be submitted by Friday, August 1 at 11:59 PM. All attendees must apply for credentials before the credential application closes. No walk-up credentials will be provided on the day of the event. Applicants will receive an email indicating their acceptance or denial after submitting the application. Applications will be thoroughly reviewed and limited strictly to legitimate media representatives.

In partnership with Taymar Sales U., the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl named Brooks Anderson as the Director of Ticket Sales and Operations.
In his role, Anderson will be tasked with leading the ticket sales and operations efforts in the ShreveportBossier City community.
“We are thrilled to add Brooks Anderson to our staff and are very thankful to [Taymar President] Joe Rickert, [Taymar Founder/CEO] Mark Dyer and their whole organization for their help in finding a wonderful fit for this position, our staff and our community,” said Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Executive Director Missy Setters. “We are excited for Brooks to become ingrained in our great community and cannot wait for our fan base to meet and work with him.”
Anderson graduated from Wichita State University with a degree in Business Administration and spent several years working in sports in Wichita, Kan., including with the ECHL’s Wichita Thunder. Brooks found a passion for building relationships and creating great experiences for fans in the world of professional hockey and is to help take the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl to the next level for local and traveling fans.
Ticket renewals for fans who have bought Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl tickets in the past have been mailed out. The renewal deadline for fans who would like to secure the same seats they have had in the past is Thursday, July 31. Tickets will go on sale to the public in closer to football season and will be available at RadianceTechnologiesIndependenceBowl.com/tickets. Individual tickets will start at $20, and there will also be group tickets, Small Business Fan Packs, Family Four-Packs and other ticket packages available. The Independence Bowl Foundation is an organization consisting of numerous volunteer committees, which carry out all of its functions, drawing upon its more than 350 members. Memberships are open for anyone who would like to become a part of the 11th mosthistoric bowl game in college football and start as low as $200.
