RVasuttama prabhu, a Prabhupada disciple from Benelux, is a professional painter and restorer, and he has already started on the entrance hall and staircase to the second floor. It will be a metamorphosis that will give additional splendor to the castle! After the entrance hall and staircase, we also want to paint the Temple Room and the two adjacent rooms, the Blue Room and the Lila Room. The appearance day of Lord Narasimha deva, the incarnation of the Lord in His form of half lion and half man.
Once in a year there is the day of Pandava Nirjala Ekadasi where there is a complete fast even from water. Radhadesh organises a day full of chanting and meditation

2nd Seva Day
Join the transformative Radhadesh project in the tranquil Ardennes region as a volunteer for a soulnourishing and growthoriented experience.
On Saturday the 13th of April, Radhadesh organized the first Seva Day in its history. The idea of the Seva day is that everyone is invited to come to Radhadesh and engage in selfless devotional service together as a team.
For this first seva day, we had sent out an email to all those that gave us their email address in the past and expressed their openness for such events.
Ultimately, six people from outside the Radhadesh community came to do seva. Our temple president, Ekacakragram Prabhu, who organized this first seva day, was participating, as well as 3 devotees who are following the bhakta program and some other Radhadesh residents, including myself (Abhimanyu Suta das), as I assisted in organizing this Seva day.
The guests were received for breakfast which we took together at 9:00 AM. It was a beautiful sunny day, so after breakfast we sat outside in the sun together.
We started with a little kirtan and after that continued with a talk about the purpose of this first seva day. One by one, everyone introduced themselves to the group so that we were getting to know each other a bit better Ekacakragram Prabhu taught us about the purpose of seva in general and the plans he has for future seva days.
SRILA PRABHUPADA SAYS... In pure devotional service, one comes to the realization that God is great and that the individual soul is subordinate to Him. His duty is to render service to the Lord - and if he does not, then he will render service to Maya (illusion).

After the introduction the group was split into two. A group of three went to help with the cows in the Goshala, under the care of bhakta Roberts, the Goshala responsible. The rest of the group helped in the vegetable garden under the guidance of bhakta Thibaut, the head of the Premaculture project.
We had to clear a large area of soil from weeds in the vegetable garden. At first it seemed impossible to finish it in the two and a half hours we had for it, but Krishna gave us wings through the beautiful kirtans that were playing in the background, so we were able to do more than we thought. Ultimately, we completed the job brilliantly within time.
The group that worked at the Goshala also returned from their work with a greatly satisfied feeling The 2 groups united and together we reflected for a while before going for lunch. We had a delicious prasadam meal together and thereafter, for one and a half hour, the complete group worked in the rose garden removing all the weeds that we could find. Hopefully also the weeds in our own hearts were removed by this devotional service.
The day was almost over by then We ended with a nice chat while enjoying an ice cream served by the restaurant. Everyone agreed that it had been a successful and spiritually satisfying day and that we should organize these days more often, perhaps even once every month.

This we have the bathing ceremony of Jaganatha, Baladeva and Subhadra. This Abhisekh is a bathing ceremony open to anyone to bathe the Lord.
Snana Yatra is the bathing ceremony of the Lordships Jaganatha, Baladeva and Subhadra during which they are bathed with sanctified water in elaborate rituals. This special ceremony is a significant event in the Vaishnava tradition. Devotees gather to witness this sacred occasion and seek blessings from the deities. It is a time of joy and spiritual rejuvenation for all those who take part in this auspicious ritual.

Over a period of three months, the following modules will be covered: Theology and Philosophy, Devotional Practice and Vaishnava Culture. Among Vedic stories, one of the most iconic is the appearance of Nrsimhadev, the half-man, half-lion incarnation of Lord Vishnu, as the divine protector of his devotee Prahlad.
It all began with the tyrant king Hiranyakashipu, consumed by his own power and arrogance. His son Prahlad, however, stood firm in his devotion to Lord Vishnu despite his father's vehement opposition. When Hiranyakashipu demanded to know where Vishnu resided, Prahlad fearlessly proclaimed that the Supreme Lord was everywhere, enraging his father further.
In a fit of fury, Hiranyakashipu struck a pillar, challenging Vishnu to reveal himself and protect Prahlad. In that moment, the universe trembled as the pillar shattered, and Nrsimhadev emerged in all his awe-inspiring glory.
With eyes ablaze and a mane scattering into the clouds, he roared with a power that shook the heavens.
The ensuing battle between Nrsimhadev and Hiranyakashipu was one of unmatched ferocity. Despite the demon king's best efforts, Nrsimhadev toyed with him like a cat with a mouse, displaying his divine prowess. Finally, as the sun set on the horizon, Nrsimhadev delivered justice, tearing open Hiranyakashipu's chest with his claws and ending his reign of terror.
But Nrsimhadev's mercy knew no bounds. Upon the prayers of Prahlad, who sought redemption for his father's sins, the Lord granted liberation not only to Hiranyakashipu but to all his forefathers for generations to come. Prahlad, exemplifying humility and compassion, accepted no material rewards, only the opportunity to continue serving the Lord and spreading his glories.
This timeless tale of devotion and divine protection serves as a beacon of inspiration for devotees of all ages. Prahlad's unwavering faith and selflessness remind us of the true essence of devotion to serve the Lord without expectation, to embrace humility, and to extend compassion to all beings.
May we cleanse our hearts with the chanting of the holy names and spread the light of love and devotion to all corners of the world.

In the legacy of Prahlad Maharaja and the divine protection of Nrsimhadev, we find solace and inspiration on our spiritual journey.
We perform Vedic Samskaras or purificatory ceremonies at the ISKCON Radhadesh temple. Our priests are highly qualified and trained in performing Vedic rites. They have deep understanding of Vedic literatures and Vaisnava philosophy, hence are able to explain every rite and ritual with proper context.
The Vedic literatures describe that there are many opportunities during one’s life – from before birth to after death – when one may perform a ceremony for purification to evoke auspiciousness and ensure advancement in spiritual life.
