Social Studies Exam Preparation Guide
Course Introduction
Social Studies is an interdisciplinary course that explores the relationships between individuals, societies, and their environments across time and place. The course examines historical events, cultural patterns, political systems, economic structures, and social institutions to help students develop a deeper understanding of the world and their role in it. Through critical thinking, analysis of primary and secondary sources, and discussion, students learn to appreciate diverse perspectives and develop informed opinions about contemporary social issues. Skills such as citizenship, empathy, and responsible decision-making are also emphasized, preparing learners to actively participate in their communities and the wider global society.
