Course Introduction
Environmental Science is an interdisciplinary field that explores the interactions between the physical, chemical, and biological components of the environment. This course introduces students to fundamental concepts such as ecosystems, biodiversity, and the cycling of matter and energy, while also examining the impact of human activity on natural systems. Key topics include pollution, resource management, climate change, and sustainability practices. Through laboratory work, case studies, and critical analysis, students gain a deeper understanding of contemporary environmental challenges and the tools used to address them in pursuit of a more sustainable future.
