Cardiopulmonary Diagnostics is a comprehensive course that explores the principles, methods, and applications of diagnostic procedures used to assess the function and health of the heart and lungs. The course covers a range of non-invasive and invasive techniques such as electrocardiography (ECG), echocardiography, pulmonary function testing, arterial blood gas analysis, and exercise stress testing. Students will learn to interpret diagnostic results, understand clinical indications, and correlate findings with disease states. Emphasis is placed on the technical skills required to perform various tests, patient safety considerations, and the integration of diagnostic information into clinical decision-making for cardiopulmonary disorders.
