Q Connect is our brand new, bespoke alumnae platform for Old Queens. This online community has been designed especially for you to re-connect and stay in touch with former classmates and teachers. We already have well over 300 Old Queens who have registered with OQ Connect so we hope you will consider joining up, if you haven’t already! It also should provide a useful platform for networking, careers advice and mentoring. We currently have over 80 registered mentors in 21 different industries, ready to share careers advice, CV tips and more with the Queen’s community. As we have spent so much time indoors over lockdown, OQ Connect has already enabled many Old Queens to find their classmates, share personal updates and career milestones. Since our launch, the platform has hosted virtual events (read more about our ‘Lockdown Lecture’ series on page 4); interviewed Mr Willows and Mrs Azis to hear about their teaching highlights over their many years at Queen’s; and seen our Club membership grow. Our Clubs page allows you to connect with Old Queens who attended your university, or who work in similar professions or industries. While we sadly cannot welcome you back to the College in person at the moment, we would love to stay in touch through OQ Connect in the meantime!
