It all starts here

From the Head of Preschool

At Queen Margaret College (QMC) Preschool we provide girls and boys aged 3 and 4 with an early education that prepares them for a successful transition to primary school and fosters a lifelong love of learning.

With excellent ratios and a team of qualified, skilled teachers, we deliver a tailored programme for individual children, recognising their unique strengths, interests, and stages of development.

At our Preschool children will develop key skills and attributes that will support their transition into primary school, including independence, confidence, and the ability to self-manage socially and emotionally.

With strong partnerships at the heart of everything we do, teachers work with parents and whānau to support children’s learning and development through collaborative programme planning that acknowledges parents’ aspirations and priorities for their children’s learning and cultural diversity.
