2. Research Approach 2.1 Methodology Housing is a complex and multifaceted issue affected by a multitude of factors. Therefore, the research aims to cover a range of issues driven primarily by working from home (WFH). The first phase of research deals with the understanding of present implications of COVID-19 on the living and working patterns of Singaporeans. They include physical and social implications, as well as urban transformations. This is presented through survey findings and behavioural mappings in domestic settings. Following that, the research expands its scope to understand the sharing economy as an important anchor to support the shift in the dynamics of neighbourhood and the lifestyle change of Singaporeans in a post pandemic scenario.
