As we all spend more and more time at home, the culture of learning and reading physical books is flourishing.

Qatar Reads, our national reading program, got creative and launched Mommy to Be, serving soon-to-be-mothers and new mothers with Mommy kits, workshops and networking events where they learned about pre-natal care and the importance of early learning and reading. Qatar Reads’ popular Family Reading Program maintained uninterrupted home delivery of books and reading activities adding in hygiene kits and even a COVID coloring book!

were paired with nannies from Qatar Nanny Training to ensure they get the best start in life, grounded in the teachings of Islam and the Arabic language.
