Reflections

COVID-19 has made us rethink what is important in our lives. We’ve learned that the most crucial thing for all of us is connection: to each other, to our community, and to our faith.

Although we had to close doors and stay in place, we found new ways to connect and to support our community. We relied on our collective will and the power of technology to spark ideas, share in conversation, and create transformative experiences.

Qatar Foundation’s Community Development division adapted and evolved so that our programs and services remained accessible to all in the safety of our own homes. Working with local leaders, community champions, staff, and volunteers, we managed to support our community during this time of disruption and uncertainty.

This report looks back at 2020 and how we developed together as a nation, celebrating our evolution and realizing our strength.
