Education City: Accessible For All

Every healthy and strong community needs a meeting place where people can come together to experience culture, to learn, and to recreate. Education City is that place and is unlike any other.

Education City (EC) is a modern, multi-faceted community hub. Community Development makes sure that programs and services offer a wide and accessible range of arts, culture, health and fitness activities, as well as learning opportunities. EC also serves as a testing ground for sustainable living.

Research has proven time and time again that active lifestyles are foundational to leading healthy and happy lives. This means less screen time for children, a healthy developmental outlet for youth, and opportunities for families and adults to stay connected. Given the important role that EC plays in our lives, we made sure that it remained accessible, albeit in different ways, throughout the pandemic.

We’re creating cultural shifts that are resulting in improved physical wellbeing and community health.
