President and VPs Join Ownership of Q&D Congrats Lance, Kevin, Jeff, Toby, and Duane Q&D Construction, an industry leader in construction for over 50 years, has announced a key change in its ownership structure. Effective February 1, 2018, Lance Semenko, Jeff Bean, Duane Boreham, Toby Basta and Kevin Linderman will be joining Chris and Mike Dianda as owners of Q&D Construction. “As demand grows nationwide, Q&D Construction will continue to offer its multitude of services to the public and private

sector alike,” said Q&D Construction CEO Chris Dianda. “Our new ownership team is dedicated to providing the same fair, organized and knowledgeable building practices that our clients have come to expect from us.”

Congratulations to Q&D’s own Tony Ramirez on winning 3rd place at the 2018 Tournament of Champions competition in Ontario, CA! The competition showcased who’s the fastest, strongest, smartest carpenter across the Southwest region!

Tony qualified to compete in Ontario by first winning the drag race in the Carpenter Local 971 Skills Competition. There he completed events and tasks including nail driving, 4x4 cutting, lenker rods, and the lumber carry. In the local competition drag race he buttoned up a concrete wall system faster than the other racers. He won $1,000 and a trophy from Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters. Way to go Tony, we are proud of you!

Congratulations to Brian Hamilton for being awarded the first ever Nevada AGC Silent Samaritan Award! Brian was nominated for his work as part of the Hoopla Committee here at Q&D as well as for his work outside of Q&D with the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe collecting donations for holiday gifts and household needs. We are proud of Brian and his silent dedication to helping others here and in the community. Also nominated for the honor this year by Q&D was Mike Ochs for his outstanding work volunteering to fight fires and provide EMT services to Lyon County on behalf of the Lyon County Fire Protection District. He gives up time with his family and spends time after work at Q&D being on duty to serve the community during emergencies. Great job gentlemen!
