OUR COMMUNITY IMPACT Making Spirits Bright

This winter, in partnership with Frisco Family Services, we adopted two families in need and also contributed bags of clothing. Thank you to all associates who participated in the Adopt A Family program. The items you purchased for the families contributed to making their holiday season a bright one! The families, who remained anonymous, shared their thanks and gratitude for our kindness.

FOUNDATION CAMPAIGN Thank you! The 2024 Associate Campaign came to Frisco, October 2 - 6. In addition to fun events, associates had the opportunity to learn more about how their time and treasure positively impacts children and families in our local community. From a scavenger hunt, to games, and a visit from the 2024 Campaign Chair, Nate Murphy, we came together to maximize the good. As a Frisco team, we collectively exceeded our participation goal, reaching an incredible 95%. In addition, we increased annual contributions by 18% over 2023! A tremendous thank you to all Frisco associates for your contributions. We look forward to utilizing these funds in our community all throughout 2024!

Liz Castro

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT

When joining the Frisco Customer Service department in 2021, Liz Castro was excited to learn that QCD was so involved in the local community. Shortly after joining the team, she began volunteering to make a difference in the lives of children and families, displaying great pride in the GSF Foundation and QCD. Liz has volunteered with other teammates and recalls one of her favorite volunteer memories at her favorite yearly GSF Foundation event - Back(pack) to School. When participating in a particular Back(pack) event, Liz invited her sons to participate in distributing the backpacks at a local elementary school. As a family, they had the opportunity to put a smile on the faces of children who do not have the financial means to purchase new supplies each year... A priceless memory she will never forget and that fueled her Thank you, Liz for volunteering your continued participation. Liz looks forward to continue to participate in volunteer events, encouraging her family and coworkers to participate. She appreciates the enthusiasm, energy and response that our organization and fellow associates show at every volunteer opportunity.
