ANNUAL TOWN HALL EVENTS HOSTED

The event gathers employees and leadership to celebrate 2022 achievements and launch 2023 Strategic Plan.

The Company recently hosted its annual Town Hall events over three days in Doha and Al-Khor, providing employees with an open forum to discuss Qatargas’ performance and Strategic Plan with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Management Leadership Team (MLT).

In his address, Qatargas CEO, Khalid bin Khalifa Al Thani, highlighted the Company’s outstanding performance, saying, “We are succeeding in achieving our strategic goals and are on track with our expansion and sustainability projects. We continue to focus on long-term growth and maintaining and improving our position as the world's premier LNG company.”

“This year has seen an unprecedented and excellent performance from all Qatargas assets, functions, and projects. We achieved strong reliability performance across all our assets.”

“In addition, all the planned shutdowns have been completed safely and successfully. Laffan Refineries have also achieved excellent operational performance, recording the longest running time since 2017.”

These achievements have contributed to the strong foundation Qatargas has set for future growth. The Company’s focus is firmly on the North Field Expansion and sustainability projects, key performance areas that it will continue to deliver safely, successfully, and through flawless execution.

The Town Hall also featured its popular question-and-answer session, giving employees the opportunity to directly converse with the CEO and MLT on a wide range of company matters.
