COLLABORATING FOR SUCCESS AT CONTRACTOR SAFETY FORUM

Forum shines a spotlight on the importance of aligning HSEQ expectations between Qatargas and its contractors and service providers.

More than 100 delegates representing 30 major suppliers and contractors attended the October 2022 Contractor Safety Forum.

Hosted by the HSEQ Group and facilitated by Safety and Occupational Health Department, along with representatives from various Qatargas departments, the third-quarter meeting was themed 'Expectations Alignment’ and highlighted the tremendous value the

Company places on its collaborative links with contractors and service providers.

Khalil Abunada, Qatargas Safety and Occupational Health Manager, emphasised that, to deliver processes effectively and efficiently, contractors play a central role in understanding the Company’s expectations and sharing the commitment to a safe working environment. “Their engagement is a key factor for mutual success,” he noted.

In bringing together partners and senior Qatargas representatives, the Contractor Forum provides a mutually beneficial platform that facilitates discussions on topics of common interest to share learning and best practices. The attendance of a broad range of Qatargas departments at the event was a key success factor, demonstrating the Company’s commitment to a solid relationship with its contractors.
