A NEW ADMIN BASE AT RLIC

In early February, Qatargas hosted an opening ceremony of the recently repurposed Administration Building in Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC), attended by Qatargas Chief Executive Officer, Khalid bin Khalifa Al Thani, members of the Management Leadership Team (MLT), and Ras Laffan Terminal Operations (RLTO) and Refining Department and Asset Managers.

The revamped building hosts the offices of management and staff of Ras Laffan Terminal Operations (RLTO) and Refining Assets and associated functions, and represents an important milestone for the departments, providing a dedicated base that is close to operational facilities.

Located to the east just before entering Port Gate 2, the new building is well-positioned to support the departments’ readiness to operate the new associated storage facilities that are being built as part of the North Field Expansion projects.
