A famous golfer once said, “The harder I work, the luckier I get”. Indeed, success, as we have seen many times over, does not happen by coincidence or happenstance – it is the result of preparation and diligence, commitment, and resilience.

This ethos is deeply embedded within Qatargas and is clearly evident across all aspects of our business, no more so than in our Strategic Plan 2023 - 2027.

Here, a comprehensive, multidisciplinary and interdepartmental approach has resulted in a strategy that will capitalise on our strengths, capture opportunities, and mitigate threats, ensuring that Qatargas maintains our performance and position as the world’s premier LNG company.

Similarly, the Qatargas Environmental Strategy, developed after a year of alignment and collaboration among stakeholders and shareholders, sets out a detailed path to address, among others, Qatargas’ value-chain environmental footprint and our contribution to the State of Qatar and QatarEnergy’s sustainability targets.

It is deeply gratifying to note that despite already achieving much success, the culture of Qatargas is such, that we do not rest on those laurels, and continue to strive for improvement.

Whether it be ensuring that all employees and contractors are committed to reliability or seeking innovative ways to contribute to the circular economy, Qatargas identifies, implements, and monitors solutions and initiatives that have economic and environmental value.

This persistence is both proactive and positive, and it is the thread that runs through the greatest success stories of our time.
