Publisher’s note... Dear Readers… The summer months have commenced and the heat has abruptly pushed away the good moods and memories of cosy winter days. This year’s summer is not like others. The current heat wave is fierce and the relief of the cool evening breeze does not come until well after dark. The power cuts make it hard for everyone and many also experience water shortages and fires. In this context the idea of enjoying a summer break seems laughable. But one of our writers did manage to escape the heat and enjoy a summer break – she spent time in April at one of Myanmar’s hill stations. In her story on Kalaw you will learn what a good place it is for a chill out destination. Kalaw is a haven. Surrounded by hills, pine trees and blooming wild flowers it is a place that leaves visitors feeling revitalized. Many travelers these days are attracted to adventure experiences and ecotourism. In this issue we’ve sharpened our focus on the wonders of Myanmar’s nature and wildlife. From black spiders, colourful butterflies, wild tigers, bears and thousands of bird species, Myanmar is a country rich in nature. The period from March to May is a time of many religious and cultural festivals and events. In this issue we look at the traditions of shin pyu, when young boys become a novice and the Thingyan water festival when a long holiday is enjoyed throughout the country to mark Buddhist New Year. Be sure to try the recipes of our Master Chef Mohana Gill. In her Kitchen Confidential this month she writes about one of my favourite dishes, called “sleepy fish curry” or ”ngathalauk baung”. And, yes it’s true you can enjoy a great nap after this meal. While we’re talking about good food I would like to recommend a Sunday brunch that My Magical Myanmar readers and friends have been talking about. cholars believe that some of the people including the Burmese (or Bamar), the majority race, are of Tibeto-Burman stock whose ancestors migrated from the northeast and some of Mon-Khmer stock who came from the east. However, after the discovery of the fossilized jawbones of the Amphipithecus bahinensis in central Myanmar some historians believe that the people might have evolved from the primate ancestors already living in the landmass that was to become the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. From the 3rd century BC a flourishing civilisation was developed by a race called Pyu whose last great kingdom of Srikshetera was destroyed by invaders from the east in the 9th century AD. The survivors assimilated into the society of the Bagan Kingdom that rose to power in the 11th century many miles north of their ruined city. The rise of the Bagan civilisation saw the strengthening of Theravada Buddhism, initiated by King Anawrahta (r.10441077) and which flourished to play a central role in lives of most Myanmar people to this day. After Bagan was destroyed in 1287 during the reign of a weak king by the armies of Kublai Khan, various kingdoms rose under great monarchs all over the land: Mon, Rakhine, and Burmese kingdoms. Hanthawaddy was the capital of the Mon kingdom under the rule of the Mon king Binnya U (r. 1453-1385). Successive Mon monarchs including the great Queen Shin Saw Pu (r. 1453- 1472) and King Dhammazedi (r. 1472- 1491)were instrumental in the glorification of the Shwedagon Pagoda; they raised the spire to its present height and were the first to cover it with sheets of beaten gold. The royal capital of Mrauk Oo on the western coast was founded in 1430 by the Rakhine king Min Sawmon (r. 1404

-1433) who left the throne he established at Laungyet for many years until he settled in Mrauk Oo. It was a beautiful city that dazzled foreign visitors who saw it in the 18th century. King Tabin Shwehti (r. 1531-1551) and his successor King Byint Naung (r. 1551-1581) founded a Burmese Empire in Lower Myanmar in the 16th century. In the 18th century it was Alaungpaya who founded the last dynasty of Burmese kings in Upper Myanmar until the country was colonised by the British in 1885, and the last king Thibaw was exiled. Myanmar’s independence was won in 1948 but Bogyoke Aung San, (father of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi) who had led the fight for freedom was assassinated by a political rival in 1946. A short period of democracy plagued by insurgencies gave way to 26 years’ of socialism under General Ne Win. The poverty of Socialist mismanagement led to country-wide protests in 1988 followed by 23 years of an open economy under military rule. Plans for a change to a “discipline flourishing democracy” were unveiled in 2003 and elections were held in late 2010. On March 30 2011 the military handed power to the present government led by President U Thein Sein, who has initiated many reforms although many challenges remain after 50 years of totalitarian rule. But President U Thein Sein was elected by military drafted 2008 constitution and Myanmar people have been eager to get civilian government as they wanted to reform the constitution. Despite military blocked to amend the constitution, opposition leader, Nobel Laureate Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s National League for Democracy party won the 2015 general election. The Daw Aung San Suu Kyi backed new President U Htin Kyaw is the first civilian president since 60 years.

The Karen people, also called Kayin, live in the southern and southeast parts of the country, in Kayin state. They are one of the major ethnic groups of Myanmar. There are two types of Karen people – Poe Karen and Sagaw Karen. Their language, culture and religious practices have distinct characteristics. Many Karen people are Buddhist who also follow animist beliefs. During the 1800s British and European influences introduced Christianity to the Kar-

en people and now around 35% of Karen people are Christians. It is believed that the Buddhist influence came to the Karen people from the neighbouring Mon people who were dominant in Lower Myanmar until the middle of the 18th century. There are many Buddhist Karen not only in Kayin and Mon states but also in Bago and Tanintharyi regions. The Karen language is Sino-Tibetan in origin. There are many different traditional dress styles

worn by Karen women, like the Say Moe Wah, Say Sa Paw, Say Moe Thu and Say La styles; each style with its own symbolism and meaning. The traditional clothing worn by Karen people is colourful and people weave fabric for long and short dresses in white, green, blue, red, yellow and black. Karen people are sometimes confused with Padaung people, who are also called Red Karens (Kayinni) but they are one sub-group of one of the tribes of the Kayah people who mostly live in Kayah State.

Every Buddhist boy can enter the Order as a novice from the time he can clearly recite the verse of application to the age of 19, when he is eligible to become a monk. His father, uncles or older brothers can also become monks for a few days or for as long as they wish. If it is a lavish affair, his sister will most likely have her ears pierced at the same time, but without any involvement from the monks.

ruising Myanmar’s rivers is a peaceful way to explore the country and it is a journey that can be enjoyed in luxurious comfort. A new vessel to Myanmar’s waterways in 2016 is the Anawrahta river cruiser operated by Heritage Line. Anawrahta was launched in March and operated its first cruise from Yangon to Bagan with 22 guests. The river cruiser was built in Vietnam and brought to Myanmar by Heritage Line, who describe the boat as its “latest, newest and best” luxury cruiser in the company’s fleet of
six luxury boutique cruisers. The Anawrahta has 23 artfully designed cabins, each with unique Burmese artwork, woodcarvings and handmade artefacts. “When our guests are staying in the cabins, they might forget that they are on a ship in a cabin room because our staterooms are built just like big luxury hotel rooms,” branch operation manager Ma Su Mon Oo said. The Executive Suites are 635 square feet in size and include an indoor seating area and a private balcony. The opulent Royal Suites have a private terrace and jacuzzi.

There are several cruises offered on the Anawrahta - 5 days 4 nights cruises between Bagan and Mandalay, 7 days 6 nights between Yangon and Bagan. The longest voyages will be 12 days 11 nights along
the Chindwin River (Mandalay-Homelin-Bagan) and along the Ayeyarwaddy River from Yangon to Mandalay. SLOW COOKED HILSA

I
n Myanmar, there is an old proverb the goes,” When you select a fish to eat, choose hilsa (ngathalauk) and when you select a wife, choose a teenager.” The hilsa is highly sought after for its smooth, rich and creamy flesh, but the fish is also known for its many fine bones. Cooks in Myanmar managed to overcome this by slow-cooking the fish, which literally melts the bones without altering the texture of the fish. Cooked this way, the spine, and even the head, becomes incredibly soft and deliciously edible. As children my siblings and I enjoyed eating hilsa, but my mother was always worried that we would choke on the bones, if only we had known of this recipe then! Many years later, when I moved to Malaysia, this fish was easily available there and I prepared it regularly for my children who named it; thorny fish’. I would sometimes also deep-fry the fish so that the bones became brittle and easy to remove.

Ingredients • 1 whole hilsa fish, about1.35 kg (3lb) cleaned and gutted MARINADE • 2 Tbsp white vinegar • 4 Tbsp shauk thee or lemon juice (shauk thee is a kind of lemon found in Myanmar) • 2 Tbsp fish sauce • 1/8 tsp ground turmeric • Salt to taste • ½ tsp chili powder GRAVY • One onion peeled and quartered • 2 garlic cloves • 2.5cm(1 inc) ginger, peeled and finely chopped • 3dried chilies, soaked to soften • 2 Tbsp coking oil

• 2 lemon grass stalks, ends trimmed and bruised • 2 medium ripe tomatoes, quartered • 2 shallots, peeled and chopped • 375 ml (12fl oz/1 ½ cups) water • Salt to taste. Method • Cut the fish into thick steaks and place in a deep dish • Combine the ingredients for the marinade and pour over the fish • Cover and set aside in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours • Prepare the gravy • Pound the onion, garlic ginger and softened dried chilies into a paste • Heat oil in a sauce pan over medium heat • Add onion paste and cook until caramelized.
• Add the fish with the marinade, lemon grass, tomatoes, shallots and water • Bring to a boil • When the water is boiling, lower the heat • Cover the saucepan with a tight fitting lid • Simmer for 2 hours, topping with water as necessary to prevent the gravy from drying up • After two hours of gentle cooking, the fish should be very soft and bones falling apart. • The oil would also have separated from the gravy • Taste and season with salt if necessary • Serve hot with rice and other side dishes. Note: This dish can be cooked using a pressure cooker or slow cooker. It makes an excellent filling for a sandwich.

A
s Myanmar baked in soaring summer temperatures my friends and I explored the hills and found relief from the heat. I have always thought the prettiest time in the Shan State is wintertime, but after visiting Kalaw during the Thingyan holidays I now know it is also beautiful in summer, not just because the temperatures are
a little cooler, but also because the beautiful wildflowers are blooming everywhere at this time of year. Kalaw sits in the hills of Myanmar’s eastern Shan State. The Lonely Planet website describes Kalaw as a “high-altitude holiday resort: the air is cool, the atmosphere is calm, and the streets are leafy and green”. During the British colonial period Kalaw was a hill station used by the British as

a place to escape the heat. This summer, as Yangon baked in 38-degree heat, our group of seven decided to do what the British did and head to the hills seeking cooler weather. There are many accommodation options in Kalaw. We wanted to have an extended stay so we chose a low-priced inn that cost just K20,000 per night. The Pine View Inn on University Road is close to Kalaw railway station and a 15-minute walk from Kalaw’s downtown area. The rooms are comfortable with clean sheets and hot water. The inn does not serve food and there is no air-conditioning, but you don’t need it, even in summer. The area is quiet and pleasant and for us was the perfect place to relax. Kalaw’s market is the centre of the town. Locals told us that villagers from surrounding hill tribes come to the Kalaw market to sell their produce on a rotating five-day cycle. There are many food stalls in the market selling Shan traditional foods and these stalls were very crowded every morning. Most of the town’s restaurants are also in this area serving Burmese and Indian food as well as Shan dishes. Many of the restau-
rant owners and staff are descendants of Indian and Nepali railway workers and soldiers who settled in Kalaw during colonial times. This pleasant town has pagodas, churches, convents and mosques. I even saw an old Sikh temple in downtown Kalaw. There are a few other sights to see around Kalaw - Kalaw Shwe Oo Min cave, the 100-year-old Christ the King church, Hnee Paya and Thein Taung Paya, which is a great spot from which to view the area.

We decided to stay in Kalaw for nine days, which is considerably longer than most travelers stay. We walked around almost the whole town and hired bikes from Naing Naing, in front of the mosque, near the Kalaw market. The bike hire prices were very reasonable - only K3,000 per day but you need to give the bikes back by 7pm. Many travelers use Kalaw as a starting point for trekking. And this was the best part of our trip – trekking over the hills. Naing
Naing’s bike hire service also offers trekking and hiking services. They have a trekking and biking map and four or five different programs - a one-day trekking trip, a one-night/ two-day trip around Kalaw or down to Inle Lake, a two-night/three-day trip from Kalaw to Inle, and a oneday trip to an elephant camp. We chose a one-night/two-day trekking trip to villages around Kalaw because we wanted to experience one night staying in Ywar Pu, a Da-Nu village. As our trip
was during the Thingyan holidays, most of trekking guides were on leave, but fortunately we found one. It cost K20,000 per person for trekking over the Shan hills including the one-night stay in the village and meals. To reach the village we walked about 15 miles, which usually takes about 6 hours. We took about one hour longer, which made me think I could improve my unhealthy lifestyle when I got back to Yangon. We started our trek at 8.45am and

for the first three hours we were heading directly to the viewpoint. There is a Nepali restaurant at the viewpoint serving Chapati and drinks and it is crowded with visitors, who come by bike, car or on foot like us. According to our trekking guide U Nge, Kalaw has many families who are descendants of Nepali Gurkhas and Indian Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims who came to the area to build roads and railway lines during the colonial time. The scenery along the trekking route is truly beautiful. But at that time of year most of the cultivated hillsides have been burnt off to renew the soil. We could still see fire in some places, burnt trees and ashes along the hillsides. Our trekking guide, who had so many stories to tell, suggested we come back again in winter to see the hills under cultivation. As we walked during the afternoon we had a chance to observe villagers’ traditional lifestyles and by 7pm we had arrived at Ywar Pu where we would spend the night in homestay accommodation. Ywar Pu is a small village with 26 households. The nearest store is 30 minutes’ walk away in another village. Our host family was so warm and welcoming and they served us chicken curry and fried vegetables for dinner, and then a European breakfast the next morning. When I took a bath after we arrived I really forgot it was summer as the water was icy cold and the temperature dropped as night fell.

Before we had started our trek my friends and I had imagined how lovely it would be to relax in the village looking up to the stars in a clear sky. But the reality was quite different - our legs were in pain and our bodies were ready for sleep as soon as we had showered and our stomachs were full. We were comfortable in our homestay accommodation, which can sleep up to 15 people. We planned to go back to Kalaw by train.
The village where the little colonial train station is located is called Myin Dike and is a 30-minute walk from Ywar Pu. The trip from Ywar Pu to Kalaw takes only 15 minutes by train. I enjoy train travel and think a great trip to do next time would be from Kalaw to Nyang Shwe at Inle Lake. We said goodbye to Kalaw two days later. But I am sure to be back as the Shan State remains one of my favourite places to visit in Myanmar.

Hukaung Valley Tiger Reserve Kachin State The Hukaung Valley was designated as a wildlife sanctuary by the Ministry of Forestry in 2004 following surveys of the area by the New York-based Wildlife Conservation Society. It is home to tigers, red pandas, elephants, cloud leopards, wild boars, gaur, Himalayan black bears, sambar and leaf deer as well as many rare species of orchids and butterflies. About 370 bird species live in the region including the rare white-bellied heron and the endangered Rufus-necked hornbill. The global estimate of plant species numbers 13,500 and about 7000 are found in the Hukaung Valley. Indawgyi Lake Wildlife Sanctuary Kachin State Indawgyi Lake is a 777 square kilometre (300 square mile) wildlife sanctuary, with the largest inland lake in Southeast Asia. It provides opportunities to see jungle cats, rare butterflies, turtles, and about 170 species of resident and migratory birds. The sanctuary is listed as an ASEAN Heritage Site. Hkakaborazi National Park Kachin State Another ASEAN Heritage Site, is the 3,812 square kilometres (1,472 square mile) Hkakaborazi National Park, in the eastern foothills of the Himalayas . It is dominated by snow-capped Mt Hkakaborazi, at 5,881 metres (19,296 feet), the highest peak in Southeast Asia. The park offers trekking and mountain climbing and is also the habitat of rare fauna, including musk deer, red panda and red goral, as well as hundreds of species of birds.

Natma Mountain and National Park Chin State

One of the Myanmar’s most beautiful mountains, the 3,108 metre (10,200 feet) high Natma Taung, once known as Mt Victoria, is fairly easy to climb. It dominates the Natma Taung National Park, which covers nearly 115 square kilometres (300 square miles). There are many rare species of birds in the park and giant rhododendrons grow on the mountain’s slopes.
This 623 hectare (1,540 acre) park is one of Myanmar’s best-known ecotourism sites and less than an hour’s drive from Yangon. It has many species of deer, as well as monkeys, lizards, pythons, endemic and migratory species of birds, including owls and many species of waterfowl, and a rich selection of flora. There is a 25 hectare (62 acre) mini-zoo with bears, leopards, hornbills, storks, pelicans, eagles and vultures.
There is also an environment education centre and an ornithological museum. Visitors enjoy jungle treks and safaris. Myaing Hay Wun Elephant Camp Yangon Region This elephant camp offers more than elephant rides and the sight of elephants being captured and domesticated. Visitors also have the option of observing a variety of wildlife, including deer, wild cats, bears, peafowl and lizards.

Moe Ingyi Wetland Wildlife Sanctuary Bago Region
No other site in Myanmar has as many species of mangroves as this Ayeyarwady delta sanctuary. The mangrove species include Kambala, Kanazo, Madama and Thayaw. Ayeyarwady dolphins, crocodiles, turtles, tortoises and otters can be seen in this 136 square kilometre (52.79 square mile) wildlife sanctuary. The mangrove ecosystem may be studied with the permission of the Ministry of Forestry.
The camp is only 30 minutes’ drive from beautiful Ngwe Saung beach. The elephants are kept in the camp during the morning and allowed to forage in the surrounding jungle during the afternoon. Visitors who stay overnight may accompany the mahouts as they head into the jungle to find their elephants and bring them back to the camp.
This 103 square kilometre (40 square mile) sanctuary is the home of thousands of birds, including more than 40 species of waterfowl. More than 30 species of migratory birds have been identified at this sanctuary. As well as bird watching, there are hire boats available for sightseeing trips in this vast wetlands habitat, which is about a three-hour drive from Yangon.

Pho Kyar Elephant Camp Bago Region Pho Kyar Elephant Camp has demonstrations showing how these animals are captured and domesticated. Visitors can enjoy an elephant ride and see working elephants in action. Alaungdaw Kathapa National Park Sagaing Region The Alaungdaw Kathapa National Park, one of six sites in Myanmar on the ASEAN Heritage Parks list, is an area of virgin jungle in which lives many animals, including elephants, tigers, deer and a variety of rare bird species. About 100 species of butterflies are found in this 1,608 square kilometre (621 square mile) park. Recreational activities include trekking and elephant riding. The park is well known as the site where the remains of a highly revered monk named Arahat Kathapa have been enshrined. Shwe Settaw Wildlife Sanctuary Magwe Region Shwesettaw Wildlife Sanctuary is east of the Rakhine Yoma Mountain Range, and is home to the country’s largest population of Burmese Star Tortoises (Geochelone platnota) and other rare species, such as the Roofed Turtle (Kachuga trivittata).

Myeik Archipelago Tanintharyi Region Off Myanmar’s southeastern coast, the Myeik Archipelago, with its 800 islands, is a world-class diving destination, with beautiful coral reefs and a rich variety of marine life. Many of the islands in the 36,260 square kilometre (14,000 square mile) archipelago are uninhabited. Lampi, one of the main islands, has been designated the Lampi National Park and is listed as an ASEAN Heritage Site. Diving and sightseeing trips in the archipelago leave from Kawthaung, at the southern end of Tanintharyi Region. Myanmar Orchids Kachin, Chin and Shan States and Mandalay Region Myanmar’s jungles, described as “the last paradise of wild orchids” have about 1500 species of orchids, many of them rare. Among the rarest are the Black Orchid (Paphiopedilum wardi) and the endangered Vanda coerulea, about 10 centimetres (4 inches) across in size. Large colonies of Phaphiopedilum bellatulum, on the international list of endangered species, are found in Myanmar.

t was 10 days before the Thingyan holiday and I could not bear the idea of another, raucous water festival in Yangon. I wanted peace. I wanted calm. I wanted a serene, and preferably cooler, space where I could find some peace of mind. A yoga retreat was just what I needed. Somewhere where I could stretch out and escape the traffic, heat and grind of life in Yangon. I began my search considering India, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia and there were endless possibilities. For US$1,000+ per week, I could have been down-dogging at a semi-posh resort in the south of Thailand or Bali, or on a beach in India. Add another $1,000 for flights, visas and other expenses and all the yoga I desired could be mine anywhere in South or Southeast Asia. But I was determined to stay within my
budget of less than $1,000. After much Googling and a little help from Trip Advisor I found my retreat in Siem Riep, Cambodia. The retreat I found offered everything I was looking for - lowkey accommodation, all meals and four hours of yoga and meditation a day. Six days would cost me just $300. With plane tickets and other expenses, my yoga holiday would total no more than $1000. But what if I could just go to Kalaw? Or Hpa-An? Or Indawgyi Lake in Kachin State? What if I could go on an all-inclusive yoga holiday for less than $1000 in Myanmar? Ngapali? Or Ngwe Saung? Or Inle Lake? Rising at dawn to the sound of chanting monks, followed by a two-hour yoga/meditation class, some breakfast and a challenging hike in the Shan Hills or a lazy walk on the beach gazing at the Bay of Bengal. How wonderful would that be? Does it exist?

The dream is to put Myanmar on the map as a destination for wellness tourism
The short answer is, yes. And, well, no – not quite yet. But, Myanmar is gaining momentum as a contender in the yoga retreat, detox market. Just before Thingyan there was a retreat offered at HpaAn Lodge by Joy Desta-Brandsma, founder of Joy Yoga – three nights for $420. According to the Facebook page for the event, the retreat offered morning and evening yoga sessions and hiking for participants. It would have been a glorious alternative to Cambodia. Unfortunately, I found out about Joy Yoga and my dream Myanmar retreat when I was already en route to Cambodia. There have been at least two other yoga retreats in Myanmar in the past year – a 3-day retreat in Ngwe Saung, run by Jojo Yang, founder of the Yangon Yoga House and another 3-day retreat in Hpa-An with a teacher who used to offer classes at the Governor’s Residence. Both retreats were well attended.

In 2015 Yang led two groups of Yangon-based yogis on a yoga trip to Siem Riep and in late June she will take a group of 16 people to Luang Prabang in Laos. Yang’s Yangon Yoga House opened its doors one year ago offering regular classes and weekend workshops with visiting international teachers as well as the retreats outside of Myanmar. Yang has a vision for developing Myanmar’s yoga offering. “The dream is to put Myanmar on the map as a destination for wellness tourism,” Yang said. “If you look at Thailand and even Cambodia and certainly Indonesia, all that holistic tourism that’s Ayurvedic, that’s yogic, that’s about detox, about spirituality, about mediation - it is so big there. I think that Myanmar, with such a strong Buddhist culture has all of the elements. It mirrors in a lot of ways the things people were attracted to about Thailand and Indonesia. It’s off the beaten track. There is a lot of spirituality infused in the culture, but it’s just not on the map as a destination for yoga and for wellness.” In addition to the Luang Prabang retreat Yang has planned in June, she will host another Siem Riep retreat in August and then will bring Myanmar’s first international 200hour teacher training to Inle Lake. The 21-day event is co-sponsored by two, California-based trainers, who previously studied under Yang. The majority of YYH-sponsored retreats have been offered for less than $500 for four days of all-inclusive yoga and accommodation, but the teacher training will cost considerably more. Yang says the cost of doing tourism-related business in Myanmar is higher than in neighbouring countries. “What I’d love to do is bring all the retreats into Myanmar,” Yang said. “When I moved to Myanmar, I didn’t plan to hold my retreats out of this country. That wasn’t in the plan … ultimately I’d love to appeal to the audience that is here already and to inbound tourists - to the international group. But for the cost

of flying to Inle or Bagan, you can fly to Chiang Mai, to Luang Prabang , or to Siem Riep. There are so many other destinations you can fly to and once you get on the ground there are more activities available.” Despite the barriers that exist, Yang said she had not allowed herself to be deterred too much by the details that often derailed others trying to bring new ideas and projects to Myanmar. Her studio was the first, English-speaking studio in Yangon, and its existence has opened the door to those seeking to develop additional yoga-related projects in Myanmar. Yang regularly hosts
international teachers offering workshops on everything from Pranayama (yogic breathing) to Acro Yoga; keeping Yangon’s yogis in the loop of all things yoga in the world. She is not soliciting these other teachers, she said, but simply responding to their inquiries and the rapidly developing market of destination yoga tourism around Southeast Asia. “I want to be able to bring in everybody, but I think part of it is that there is a heightened interest in Myanmar, in general. It’s not just the yoga community. From a tourism perspective, Myanmar is a buzz word right
now… Many yogis do the Southeast Asian circuit - they go to Chiang Mai, to Bali. They are floating around. Luang Prabang ’s got a big yoga community now. Obviously Chiang Mai has a huge yoga community and even parts of Cambodia. Vietnam has a very strong yoga culture too.” Now it is time for Myanmar to be added to the region’s yoga circuit.
