A cost-plus construction agreement is a contract in which the owner pays the contractor the actual costs of the materials and labor plus an additional negotiated fee or percentage over that amount.
GMP – Guaranteed Maximum Price
A price arrangement is essentially a cost-plus agreement that includes a cap on the owner’s maximum liability for construction costs incurred on the project.
