Basketball Opens On The Peninsula Winter Sports
• All four Peninsula gyms will be busy this winter with basketball from kindergarten to high school varsity. The Palos Verdes Basketball Association and the Palos Verdes Youth Basketball League as well other leagues, camps and schools have taken over the basketball courts for winter sports season.

Opening Day . . . Cheer squads from Palos Verdes and Peninsula high schools greeted the young players.

PVBA In Play . . . The Palos Verdes Basketball Association began the season with competitive games and new unifroms.
