ENTRELAZANDO LA ESFERA PARA UNA CARTOGRAFÍA INACABADA Cuaderno de notas
La obra es un cruce de miradas entre el pasado y el presente en la Región de Magallanes y la Antártica Chilena, que habla acerca del viaje, el cual siempre ha representado una experiencia total en el ser humano. Un relato de lo material y lo inmaterial, de las costumbres de los pueblos que habitaron y habitan, la relación y contacto que han tenido con otras culturas, su evolución y transformación hasta nuestros días. Un territorio con más de 10.000 años de presencia humana, anteriormente sin fronteras establecidas, habitado por pueblos originarios nómadas, siendo sus actividades básicas: la caza, la pesca y la recolección, desarrollaron una cosmogonía propia y universal, basada en un respeto sagrado por la naturaleza, transmitida de forma oral y que hoy sirve como reflexión y puesta en marcha para un cambio, en la coyuntura actual y el desafío ante la escasez de agua y la degradación del planeta. Dependerá de nuestro compromiso.

The artwork is a cross of views between the past and the present in the Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica Region, that talks about the journey, which has always represented a total experience in the human being. A story of the material and the immaterial, of the customs of the peoples who inhabited and inhabit, the relationship and contact they have had with other cultures, its evolution and transformation to this day. A territory with more than 10,000 years of human presence, previously without established borders, inhabited by nomadic First Peoples, their basic activities were hunting, fishing and gathering, they developed their own universal cosmogony, based on a sacred respect for nature, transmitted orally and that today serves as a reflection and start-up for a change, in the current situation and the challenge of water scarcity and the degradation of the planet. It will depend on our commitment.
