BUILDING A BUSINESS ON A BUDGETCONGRATULATIONS!! You bought your kit. For many consultants they spend most if not all of their money to buy into the business, knowing that this investment is going to help better their life in the long run. Now you have your kit and you realize that you still have other things you need to buy in order to make your business run a bit more smoothly as well as to help promote yourself quickly. The most common statement I hear daily…… “I don’t have any more money to put into this business and I am not making any yet either” So let’s be smart when we first start, especially when a budget is concerned. There really are only a few things you need besides your kit when you first start: 1) Something to hold your demo and stock- there are two options that cost you NOTHING· Use the boxes your kit originally comes in · Use a suitcase or duffle bag you already have around the house As you start making more money you can advance to Rubbermaid or tool boxes, but this is not necessary at first. 1


2) Pens- you need something your customers can write with. I recommend getting some at the $1 Store. After you are in the business and making money, invest in personalized pens for marketing effect. 3) Q-Tips/craft sticks- you need these so the customers can sample some products sanitarily. Again I recommend the Dollar Store until you can buy the penis toppers 4) Calculator- some people use their cell phones or buy one at the Dollar Store 5) Money Bag- Zip lock bags, envelope, or Coupon Holder from the Dollar Store 6) Bubble Envelopes- these are important so you can mail out backorders to your customers. When starting out get them at the Dollar Store, then build up and buy in bulk. 7) Bags for product- yes, you do get a set of big bags in your kithowever you shouldn’t use a big bag if someone only bought one thing. So buy a pack of white or pink lunch bags from the Dollar Store or Walmart and use these for your q-tip trash as well as bag for products. You can be creative to fancy up the bag with a sticker, stamp, using funky scissors, etc. 8) Copies of documents for your hostess packets & recruit packets- this is a fundamental part of your business so you can get those bookings and recruits. Make sure you use the OFFICE MAX card you get in your kit to make your copies and other things you might purchase at Office Max because it gives you a great corporate discount. $1 STORE SHOPPING LIST · Q-tips/craft sticks · Bags · Calculator · Bubble Envelopes (6- 2 packs) · Pens Total Investment: $12.00 WHAT TO GIVE AWAY AT YOUR PARTIES ON A BUDGET Now you are probably thinking- great I am working on getting my calendar full and would love to spoil my hostesses and guests but I can’t afford to give away too much. No Problem! The beauty of our business is the majority of our products are so popular, yet inexpensive that any incentive makes people happy. So let’s work on giving away things that won’t break the bank. HOSTESS INCENTIVES (What to give to someone interested in booking): 2


· Extra % at their show (instead of 10% give them 15%) · Bonus Spending Credit- $10, $15, $20 (remember this isn’t X amount out of your pocket- it is only 60% of what you are giving them) (VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU INFORM THE BOOKING CUSTOMER THAT IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THIS PRODUCT AT THEIR SHOW IT MUST BE A $x PARTY) HOSTESS GIFTS (What to give to your hostess during her show to make her feel special- do this during the demo so others can see what you can get for having a party) Some examples: · Hot Heart Massager · Scentuality · Kiss and Tell Lip product · Pure Romance Dollars- give her PR dollars to use towards their purchase Do what you feel is comfortable for you. You can showcase one product a month or just read your Hostess and tailor the gift specifically for her. HOSTESS PAY PROGRAM Rule of thumb, the Hostess receives 10% of the retail sales no matter what the party total is. She also gets a gift to be decided upon by you for hosting a party of $150 or more. You can adjust it so that she receives more for having a larger retail total. Showing her a chart like this may get her to work more for you because she sees what the benefit is for her. Again thought these are suggestions, you just merely do what you think is right for you and your business. What works for you may not for me and vice versa. (What does the hostess get for different party sales): · Party under $250- one of the hostess gift mentioned above · Party $250-$500- the hostess gift, 10% of Retail sales, & an additional discounted item. · Party $500- items mentioned above & 1 item at your Consultant Cost · Party over $1000- Any one item in catalog for free. PRIZES FOR GAMES You do not want to give a ton of prizes during your parties, especially as you first start. Invest in about 10 prizes and give away 1-3 per show. These prizes should not be more than a few $ each MAX. Here are some ideas: · Pure Romance Dollars- these are great if you don’t have any stock at all to give. (you make these up, they use them for their orders) · Break up Great Head, Whipped variety packs, chocolate fantasy ·Coupon Book for Lovers .Grab bag items, (ordered under business supplies) ARE YOU GIVING AWAY TOO MUCH? Try thinking about an average you should be giving away including your hostess gifts and game prizes (NOT INCLUDING THE 10% IN SALES): 3


· $300 or less party- no more than $10 YOUR COST · $500 or less party- no more than $16 YOUR COST · $700 or less party- no more than $16 YOUR COST (and maybe one item at your discount) · $1000 party- at least $40 YOUR COST (REMEMBER YOU CAN GIVE AWAY PRODUCTS AT 35% AND IT DOESN’T COST YOU ANYTHING!!) PAYING YOURSELF Don’t forget to pay yourself! Yes it is important to build up stock and to purchase other fun things for your Demos and gifts, BUT you don’t want to work for free. Even if you just pay yourself $50 a party in the beginning, it is important to do so. You also want to make sure you have a separate bank account for your business so you don’t run into problems of not being able to pay bills because you’re buying product or not being able to buy product because you paid bills.

REINVEST IN YOUR BUSINESS You have started your business on a budget, if your calendar is getting full, the next step is to REINVEST. Decide from the beginning how much of your profit you can put back into your business right away. I recommend putting a 50% or more return for the first few months. What should you invest in?? The choice is yours. Demos If you started with a smaller demo kit such as the Bronze, once you start doing shows you will want to add a couple of more demo items. It is your choice what you add to your demo. There is no absolute items to add. Just keep in mind you want to mix it up a little. Give your audiences a variety of items to view at your show. Stock When building your stock I strongly encourage you to talk with your sponsor. Together you can help decide the most effective and efficient way to build up your stock. Remember you don’t need thousands of dollars in stock- a rule of thumb: $1000 in stock per party per week. If you are doing 1 party a week you only need about $1000 in stock, not $5,000. You are not expected to build this amount overnight. If possible a variety of items at different values would be great to have on hand so you can trade with other local consultants if you get that call for an item you do not have in stock and your next order isn’t for 2 weeks.

Once you have your stock built to an adequate amount you can start investing in other ways to promote your business. Here is a list in order of importance that I would recommend getting once you have built your stock: · Personalized Pens (can range from $50-a couple hundred) · Pure Romance clothing (shirt, hat, jacket, etc)

KEEP IT GOING Now that you have learned how to work your business on a budget, remember these very important things: · You constantly have to work your business and put back a little each party to help your business grow · You have a ‘Pure Romance family’ and an upline that can help you get motivated and teach you all sorts of amazing techniques that can help build your business into an amazing success! · This is YOUR business and no one can make it for you! Hard work, dedication and perseverance will take you a long way. · Attend every business builder meeting possible. This is an investment of your time that will increase your bookings, sales, and recruiting. These meetings are designed to help make you as successful as you want to be. Those who show up…Go up!!! . Attend corporate events. World Conference, Empowerments, PRU and other events which may pop up during the year.

Party Planning/Hostess Coaching Calls (Taken from Gold Standard 2012-2013 Visions and Values class) (altered slightly) Do not rely on text, emails or Facebook to do the coaching. It’s all about the connection and trough actually speaking is where that connection is made. Think of your Hostess as your business partner. From the day she books her party until the last order is filled, you will work together to ensure that the party is a success, both in your eyes and her own. Successful Party Planning can mean the difference between

a $200 party and a $1,000 party-the more excited your Hostess is, the more excited her guest are, and the more profitable the party will be for both of you! Party Planning calls are about connecting. It takes time and practice to learn how to make lasting connections with your Hostesses. The good news is that with each party, you will have the opportunity to perfect your craft! For out new Consultants, we’ve taken the guesswork out of Party Planning. Our scripts tell you exactly what to say on your Party Planning calls. Reviewing the Hostess packet materials is a perfect way to begin your first Party Planning call. First Party Planning Call Within three days of giving out your hostess packet, make your first call. (You can set time for the call when you actually book the party so they are prepared for your call if possible) Also, Please note, you need to be upbeat and cheerful in your tone. Excitement is contagious. “Hello! May I please speak to {Hostess’ name}? This is {your name} with Pure Romance. I hope you are as excited as I am about your party. Are you? Great! I want to Thank you again for choosing to host a Pure Romance party with me. I want to help you and your friends have a memorable night and a lot of fun. Before we get started, what are you looking to get out of your party? What can I do to make this the best party for you?” (not every hostess wants product, many want a memorable experience and fun with friends. Know her why and make it happen) “I just have a few questions for you so I know exactly what you want from this party”: 1. “What was the main reason you booked a Pure Romance party? Is it for a special occasion? Free Products? Have you thought about a theme party? If you have something in mind, I would be glad to work with you or we have several popular themes like 50 Shades of Grey party or Little Black Dress” 2. “Do you happen to have your hostess packet handy? Did you happen to notice the hostess rewards? Just as a reminder you will receive 10% of the total party sales as credit toward your favorite Pure Romance products. So for example, if 6


the orders at your party total $500, you are entitled to $50 in free product! So the more people who attend your party, the more products you will earn.” 3. “Have you thought about the guest list and who you want to invite? One tip that I give all my Hostesses is to go through your cell phone and your Facebook page to make sure you don’t forget to invite anyone who might want to come. I know my friends get mad when I don’t invite them to parties. You also want to overinvite! A Pure Romance party is like a wedding- not everyone will be able to attend.. To make sure you get at least 10 guest… go ahead and invite 20 people. I know you are going to have some friends who want to come but can’t make it. That always happens, but don’t worry, they can still shop with me. I can send you extra catalogs, order forms, and envelopes so your friend can still get all the Pure Romance products they want.. Let them know that their order will be confidential, just as if they were at the party, and they will still count toward to overall party total!”(Make sure she has your website information. If her friends shop online, make sure they let the hostess know they did their order and have her give you names so you know to match the outside order with her party) (I suggest she send guest to your website to browse instead of spending extra $$ on sending catalogs. It’s faster also) 4. “There are a couple of ways we can invite guests to your party, and I’m happy to help in any way I can. I have invitations postcards if you want me to send those out- all you’ll need to do is give me the names and addresses. Or we can send invitations online. A Facebook event is also an option. We can also do a combination of these. There is no right or wrong way to invite your guest, we just want to do whatever your guest are most comfortable with. Now I just want to remind you we don’t permit men, children or infants at our parties, all guest have to be at least 18 years old.” “Great! I think we are off to a wonderful start.”(make sure she has no questions for you) “ I will follow up with you {mid-point between now and the party date} Is this number the best to reach you at? What time of day works best for you? How about {suggest a date and time| Awesome! I will talk to you then. Have a great day {Hostess’ name}” Second Party Planning Call (place this call on the scheduled date and time) Make sure you are upbeat and cheerful in your tone. Excitement is contagious. “Hello, may I please speak to {Hostess’s name}? This is {your name} your Pure Romance Consultant. How are you? We are getting close to party time! Are you and your friends excited? I just want to make sure we are on track to give you and your friends an unforgettable night. Do you have any questions for me? “{answer them} 7


“I just want to confirm a couple of things. I want to make sure I have all the supplies I need for you and your friends the night of your party.” (referring to catalogs etc. not product) “How many guest are you expecting? Are you happy with that number of guest? {if she is not happy} I have something that might help you think of more people to invite. I am going to email you a Who do you know List, which will give you some ideas about some people you can invite that you may not have thought of yet.” “I know some people probably told you they want to come to the party, but they can’t make it that night. Have you collected any pre-orders? Do you need any help from me with them at this point?” “The night of the party, to give you the full Pure Romance experience I am going to need a couple of things from you. I need a table or something to set up my demo products on to show you and your friends. A coffee table or card table work fine. I also need a private area to be the shopping room. It doesn’t have to be a big room, I’m not bringing and whole department store or anything, but it just needs to be a private area. Does that sound do-able? “ “Also, please remember you are going to be calling your guest before the party to remind them about your party. Because many women do not know what they are doing until just before the date of the event, feel free if you do end up remembering anyone to invite to go ahead and keep on inviting guest up until your party. “ “We are going to have a fabulous time! Now I just need to schedule one last phone call for a day or two before you party for me to check in with you and firm up details about your party. {schedule next call} Great I look forward to talking with you.” Third Party Planning Call “Hello! May I please speak to {Hostess’ name} This is {your name} your Pure Romance consultant. Can you hear it? That’s the sound of your friends laughing and having a blast at your party! I can predict these things {a little giggle} I just want to make sure I have the correct information. I have your address as {say address} Are there any landmarks for me to watch for that will make it easier to locate your house?” “I will be bringing to your party a few things so if possible, it would be great if you can save me a close parking space . {Find out the best place to park}” “Do you have a final count on guest? Is that what you were hoping for? {if so} That sounds great! It also would be fine with me if your guest could bring a friend with them. The more the merrier! “ 8


“Did you end up getting any pre-orders? Remember those count towards your party credit. If any of your guest have any questions, please feel free to have them contact me. “ “The other thing that I would like to make sure you know is about closing your party out. I often have hostess and guest ask me when the party will be close. If possible I would prefer to close your party out the night of your party. It is much easier this way so we aren’t not chasing down guest for orders and trying to get all the free goodies you have earned to do it this way. You can always earn even more free goodies if you would like by getting orders after the party but I don’t want you or your guest to have to wait to get items so let’s plan to close your party out at the party. “ “Do you have any questions for me? Great see you {say day and party time to confirm}”

Other Hostess Coaching Tips: It is suggested that you call a hostess at least three times before her party. (Depending on how far out her party is booked for) In general a party that is to be held within 30-60 days this rule will apply. If a party is booked farther out than that, I suggest at least once a month you contact her. I do however recommend that parties not be booked months in advance unless they are for a special occasion such as a bachelorette party. One of the things that works in your favor is the hostess excitement about her upcoming party. If a party is booked too far out, they may lose that excitement. There is also a call check list is in your blue print for success which came with your kit. Please refer to it for more details on what each call should contain. Tammy Stanley Hostess Coaching (Another option on hostess coaching, you can use either or. You can also mix it up if you choose) The first call should be made within a day or two of booking. Set up an appointment to talk (either over the phone or in person which ever works best for both of you) at the time the booking is set. Write it down for her on her hostess packed or your business card. Encourage her to even set the appointment on her phone or calendar so she don’t forget. Let her know the call will be brief as you are not trying to take up anymore of her time than you need to. If meeting in person, you can do it easily over a quick cup of coffee. Let her know it is of utmost importance that you have brief conversations with her from time to time before her party. After all you are the expert here and you want to help her have the best party her friends have ever attended. 9


Suggested first hostess coaching script, taken in most part From Tammy Stanlely 1. Thank her with sincerity. (practice before) Hi is (hostess) there. Hi (hostess) This is (my name) with Pure Romance. Is this a bad time? I just wanted to give you that quick call we talked about at(who’s house she booked at) because I wanted to give you those coaching tips to make your party a success “(her name)First I really want to thank you for hosting a Pure Romance party with me. I know that you probably already know this, but it’s through hostess like you that I expand my business. I just couldn’t do it without hostess like you. So I really really want to thank you. The best way I know how to thank you is to get you as much free Pure Romance product as I possibly can. And in order for me to do that I need you to follow just a few coaching tips. Some of these tips I am about to give you may sound like common sense to you but bear with me. I have my checklist here and don’t want to miss anything. Now (hostess name) the truth of the matter is attending a home party is not a high priority in most women’s calendars. If there is something fairly important going on in a woman’s schedule she will prioritize that which is fine. The key is this: If a woman wants to come and she has the night free, she will come. Therefore this isn’t something that she needs weeks and weeks notice. In fact I found that the longer she has it on her calendar, the longer she has to view it as a commitment. Therefore it will make her feel like it is something she wants to squirm out of. Most people already feel over committed. What they really desire is fun and spontaneity. So giving a woman a weeks’ notice for this kind of thing is fine. In fact I want you to feel comfortable about inviting women all the way up to the day of your show. There have been days I didn’t think of a particular person until the day I was having the show. But by calling her and telling her that I thought of her and was thinking how much fun she might have. I easily inspired her to come because she had the night free and it sounded fun. In fact (hostess name) a hostess recently told me she so glad that I told her not to feel bad about inviting people up until the last minute because the day before he party she thought of an old friend she hadn’t seen in years. And the result was that her friend was delighted to hear from her and thrilled to that my products got the hostess to think of her and invite her. So I want you to feel comfortable about calling old friends you haven’t seen in a long time. Now when you call your friends , literally tell them. “I’m giving you a quick call today because I am hosting a Pure Romance party so that you can come and check out the latest products to spice up the bedroom. This way you will have a quick and easy way of inviting them. I really don’t want this to have to take a lot of your time.

What I want to tell you now is about my hostess plan (hostess name) you are going to receive ___% of free product or $___ for every $100 that is sold the night of your party so we really want to sell One of the best ways to insure this is to go ahead and make a list of people that you want to invite but while making that list I want you to think of women who would not only love these products but would also have the money to purchase it as well. Obviously if no one buys anything you won’t receive any free product then what are we doing this for. (I like to put in a light chuckle here) I want really spoil you. The other way to get free product is you are going to receive ………(whatever you decide to give for her getting her friends to book parties) for each party that books off of yours. So we really want to get bookings. And there are several ways to make that happen. Now one way is while making that list, also think of inviting people who would love the products but you’re not sure what their budget is. You don’t know if they can afford it or not. Even if their budget does not allow for it, these women are the most likely to book a party of their own since they will want to get free products. Also (hostess name) when you are making that list invite women from the different facets of your life. So once you have invited a few people from your neighborhood, then invite a few people from work then maybe clubs or church etc. Just invite a few people from each group. The reason why is that women that walk into a home party and know everyone there that they see they think “oh I can’t hostess a successful party because everyone I know is already here. Now you know and I know that she could probably still do it but for some reason that’s just not the way many women think. If however each woman only knows a couple of the people that she sees, she is far more likely to think “oh I hardly know anyone here I could host my own show. And (hostess name) that is exactly what want those women to think since you will earn more free product when others book a show from yours. Now finally about refreshments, I don’t want you to go through a lot of trouble. Let me explain why, women who see a fancy spread are likely to think they don’t have the time or the money to host a Pure Romance party. However any guest seeing some chips and dip, just something simple, thinks “hey, (hostess name) didn’t go through any trouble, I could do this” And that’s exactly the kind of reaction you want to generate since I want you to get more free product by people booking a show from yours. Finally (hostess name) I want you to get free product just for inviting people. So you be sure to call and invite the guest and I will do my very best to get you as much free product as I possibly can. (If you are doing the invitations for your guest which I strongly suggest so you know they are actually inviting people.) Get me your invite list so I can send those invites out as a second form of reminder. Everyone likes something positive in the mail. But the calls are what is going to get them there.

The Second Call This call should be a couple of weeks before her party. Remind her to make sure she gives her guest a call a day or two before the party. This will help those who may forget at least minute. Suggest that this be done by phone call not by text or Facebook message. It is more personal and her guest will hear her excitement and therefore get excited themselves. Be sure to ask her if she has any guest who may have questions before the party to let you know so you can help her answer them. Ask if she has any questions for you at this point. See how she is doing with getting outside orders before the party. Make sure she knows how to total up the order. If she has guest who want to be discreet, they can call you directly. Tell her you have no problem if her friends want to bring an extra person. The more the merrier. It will also help increase her sales. Remind her that you will need a separate area for orders and that her guest know leave the men and children including infants at home. Suggest that she hold off on serving refreshments until after the demonstration the night of the party. This will give the guest something to do while everyone else is ordering. It also allows their hands to be free to pass around products and browse through the catalog. Remind her if she has any questions for you be sure to give you a call. The Third Call This call should be a day or two before her party. Be sure to Thank her. If you need, stand in front of the mirror before you make the call and list to yourself all the reasons you have to be thankful for this hostess. Without hostess like her, your business will fail. Ask her how many guest she will be expecting. (she will often have less than she is thinking, it happens) Remind her again no men, no children. Confirm the directions with her. Ask her if possible can she save you a space closer to the door as you will be carrying things in. Remind her if you will be needing a demo table and to make sure she has a separate area for ordering. There is different hostess coaching script in the “Your Burning Desires� Facebook group that you can also use if you desire to change it up. The wording is just a little different.

What to put in a Hostess Packet. First you want to make sure you always have hostess packets prepared and with you. This not only will save you the expense of mailing it, but, it will show the hostess you are a professional and prepared so she knows you will be prepared to give her the best party ever. 12


DO NOT RELY ON YOUR HOSTESS PACKET TO DO YOUR HOSTESS COACHING FOR YOU. Fact: Many hostess DO NOT read the material you give in the packet We still give a hostess packet because we hope they will read it, for a reference for them to look at, and to cover your behind so they can’t say they didn’t know or had no idea, you can refer back to the hostess packet. Also so there is no confusion on your hostess program.

Hostess Packet Checklist: Two Printed Pure Romance Business Cards (one for her to share with a friend) (If you are new to Pure Romance, it is common to use the blank Business Cards included in your Kit) Tips for Holding a Successful Party ~Put in writing, no men no children. If they are present, you won’t be able to do the party ~ Separate area for ordering Hostess Credit Sheet ~All hostess get 10% of party sales ~All hostess gifts still require sales tax to be paid ~you want to put it in writing what you promised her for hosting the party, no “I thoughts” this way. It’s all spelled out to her and she can look at it to be reminded at any time. ~her booking date, so she writes it down when she gets home Current Hostess Incentive Flyer ~If you have a special flyer made up you can also give this. Many consultants don’t always make flyers up. This is optional A Catalog ~giving one catalog helps her know that it belongs to her. Giving multiple catalogs to her she is going to thing she is to pass them out to her friends. Often she will even give hers. Then you will get a phone call from her that she is in need of more catalogs. catalogs become expensive when you have to mail them multiples (suggest to her that her friends who can’t look at hers, can go online to the website to browse, this will also save her a trip from having to take them a catalog) Three Order Forms and Envelopes (for the privacy of Outside Order customers) There is an outside order form in the Burning Desires Facebook files you can also use. ~or you can also make up a form for her to use instead of an order form Guest List Form ~Your hostess will need to keep track of who she invited and who is coming. Invitation return form ~Sometimes it’s easier for your hostess if you do the invitations for her. If this is the case make sure she has a form to fill out for you and an envelope with your address on it so she can return it to you. (we will talk more about this on our next call)

Pure Romance Invitations (at least 15) (if you are not sending them out for her) Optional –Hostess Wish List and/or Incentives/Reward Brochure Recruiting information Somewhere in your hostess packet you will want to state the fact that if you do not make contact with her before her party, you will not show up. It is best to make hostess packets up ahead of time by putting your items into an envelope. You will want to get some 9”X12” so the catalogs will not need to be folded. Be sure to ask for a copy of you sponsor/trainer’s hostess packet on your next training call for an example.

Effective Discounts As a Consultant, you have the opportunity to receive deep discounts on popular Pure Romance products by ordering in bulk and taking advantages of Pure Romance Free product credit every month! When you have products that you’ve gotten at a low prices, they are perfect to use for specials and sales for your customers! Remember to only offer items that you can afford as a business owner as an incentive. The following are examples you can use if you choose to help you book more parties or get more sales. Book a party…. Get special offers: ~A free gift and 10% of your party sales in free product ~15% Hostess credit (ups it a little from the 10%) ~Double hostess credit ~Any item at x% off. After the party: There is a few things you will need to do. 1) Organize your paperwork from the party. You want to keep everything tidy for tax purposes. 2) Enter your credit cards if you had any. 3) Clean your toys. 4) Restock things like catalogs, order forms hostess packets etc. You always want to be ready for the next party. 5) Make a list of all the items needed to fill back orders and replace what(if) you carry in stock 6) Make bank deposits so once your bank makes the money available, you will be ready to order 7) Send the hostess a thank-you card. Placing your order: (Smart ordering), Order smart. Order no more than once a week. If you find you need a product, make a phone call to me or one of you PR sisters. The more often you order, the more you will spend in shipping. If a customer calls and ask for an item, let them know the next time you will be placing an order. If it’s not in the near future you may need to order sooner or trade with another consultant. There are three different ways to place an order. 1) Phone order. 2) Fax order. 3) Online ordering. (by far the easiest and most used) For orders to be processed the next day, all orders need to be place by midnight. However, corps clock seems to be ahead of most peoples. Allow about 15-30 minutes before midnight to make sure you make the cut off. Ordering on Sundays, or the last day of the month can sometimes be an overload on the corporate website. It may take longer for pages to change etc. Try not to order during peak times if possible. Make sure you have a list of what you want to order. I go through all of the order forms and make my list of back orders. I then look at what I am running low on in my stock and what I want to add to my stock and put that on the list. When you make your order online, be careful that you do not order 6 packs on accident if that’s not what you meant to do. Having 3x6 bottles of Just Like Me might be 15 more than you intended. Double check to make sure you have correct scents and flavors and also ordered everything you needed and nothing you didn’t want to. Once you have chosen everything you want, you will need to choose a shipping method. Corporate pickup will be your cheapest method if you are in the Toledo area and your order is more than $100.

For orders to be delivered to you, always choose the first option which is standard ground. This is the cheapest shipping method. If you live in Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana, (you are in region1) you: You will not get your products any faster if you choose 2 day or overnight.. There is also no Saturday delivery with PR products for region 1. In Ohio/Lower Michigan: If you order Monday 10PM, you will typically get your order on Wednesday If you order Wednesday 6AM you will get typically get your order on Friday. If you order Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, you will typically get your order on Tuesday. Note, the previous is the normal shipping time. Corp has a disclaimer that they have up to 48 hrs to ship out orders. It is typically faster. If you live farther away and your order needs to be sent via airplane, you will get your aerosol cans (Between the Sheets) sent ground. Pure Romance ships our products via UPS. (you don’t want to ship your back orders to customers this way it’s too expensive) Shipping to you will at minimum will cost you $19. The shipping scale can be found under orders>additional order recourses. If your shipping is over $25 consider the Toledo Corporate Pick Up. Once you select your products and shipping method, you will be ready to pay. Paying for your order: 1) Click on Add payment in the billing information at the bottom of the screen. 2) Choose your method of payment then fill in required information. 3) For using credits on file, if you do not have enough to cover the entire order, you will need to change the amount in the box to how much you have. 4) Then click on add payment at the bottom of that screen. 5) You can use more than one form of payment. 6) Click submit and you are done. You at this point should get a conformation #. You can see past orders on the COO under the order tab>view past orders. (Note) To know how many credits on file you have, go on the COO and under the “my business tab, click my business and it will show you there.

Toledo Area Corporate Pick UP If you live in the Toledo area, you are fortunate enough to be part of a team who has a person who generally goes down once a week and will put up your order. There are however a few guidelines you must follow.

When ordering, you will need to check the box “corporate pick up $15” under shipping methods.

Corporate pickups are set as event through the Facebook group “Your Burning Desires” You will get an event invite each week. All details are listed in it as far as day, time and pick up place. Simply say you are “going” to join the event. If you are not ordering for sure then please decline the invite those weeks. When you joined the team you should receive a Facebook friend invite from a “Toledo Area Corp Pick up. Please accept the friend request for it. There are a few rules when doing a corporate pick up. • You must choose corporate pick up when you order. • You must join or say you are going on the event. (we can’t read minds) • You will need to email localpickup@pureromance.com, state your name, consultant ID and say that you give Tina Kerr permission to pick up your order on….. (the day) This will keep your order from going to the wrong person (it will be stated in the event if a different person is picking up) • You will need to join or say you are “going” for the pick up by the time stated which is NOON the day before pickup. Our pickups are normally Thursdays. This would mean by Wednesday at NOON. This needs to be done so the driver can send a master list. • The driver is generally home by 6PM. It will be stated on the event what time she is available for you to go to HER HOUSE and pick your order up from her. • You will pay the driver $10 for her gas and time no matter how many boxes your order is. • If you can’t make the time stated for pick up, please get with her and figure a time that works for both of you. IF YOU SAY YOU ARE “GOING” OR HAVING YOUR ORDER PICKED UP, THEN MEAN IT. There is only so much space in the driver’s car. It is first come first in. You saying you are going and then not will take the space of another person that may be turned away. It is also a waste of the driver’s time looking for a box for an order that you didn’t place for pick up. So in short, don’t say you are going if you are not. If you are a multiple time offender of the previous rule you will be uninvited for future pickups. Please note, it is not always worth it to do a corporate pick up. If your shipping for “Standard UPS ground” is under $25, then let them deliver it. Generally orders over $100 retail will save money on shipping with having it picked up for you.

Shipping Customer Back orders Never ever never give back orders to the hostess unless the customer ask you to. If you give the back order to another person and they do not give it to the rightful owner, you are responsible still. Do not even suggest this to try to save yourself money for shipping. It’s also a matter of privacy. 17


Some consultants drive back orders to the customer’s house. If you find this effective for you then it is totally fine. However, it is often a hassle trying to catch up with every one of your customers (when they will be available the same time you will) to deliver those orders. To send back orders you will want to do it USPS. It will be the most cost effective. Sending items in the bubble wrap envelopes will save you the most money. Using those white boxes that the post office provides is often more costly. You have 14 days to get the customers their back orders. If it is going to be longer than this because an item is on back order through the warehouse , let the customer know. Offer her a different item when possible. No refunds. You can purchase bubble envelopes at the dollar store or through bulk (if you do a lot of orders this is good) by doing an online search. 9 1/2x14 ½ work great for sending things like large Coochy, Dual action Toys etc. Smaller envelops such as 6x10 work great for sending things like Sensations, Just Like Me or Thumbs up. You can even get mini bubble envelops to send smaller items like Basic Instinct. If you attend Business Builder meetings, we offer these 10 for $3. Make sure the envelops you purchase do not tear easily. Mark your packages liquid if they contain any Most times sending items first class vs. parcel post will only mean a day difference in shipping time. Go for whatever is cheaper if it will get your products to your customer in our allowed time frame of 14 days. The only way to guarantee that our customer receive their backorders is to send it with a delivery conformation. If a customer claims that they did not get the item, you will be required to resend the items if you don’t ask for delivery conformation. If you choose not to get delivery conformation on your packages, you are taking a chance. If it’s a smaller item that you can afford to resend if necessary, then send it regular mail. Most times you won’t have any problems anyway but just know you are responsible. Sometimes if the customers live in an apartment where they have the mailboxes on the wall and the mail carrier puts larger packages in the bottom tray where anyone can get the package, I would definitely suggest signature conformation. You can ask the customers at time of purchase if it’s an apartment. Build stock as quickly as you can in order to avoid extra shipping expenses.
