Cape Town

Day 1 – 4

Start your journey in the picturesque city of Cape Town in the shadow of the mighty Table Mountain. Explore the Waterfront, Cape Peninsula, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Robben Island and much more.

Winelands

Day 5 – 6

Journey today to the idyllic Winelands region, stay in either Stellenbosch, Franschhoek or Paarl and enjoy tours to the famous vineyards in the area as well as sampling some of the finest dining on offer by local chefs.

Knysna

Day 7 – 8

Nestled between the imposing Outeniqua Mountains and the Indian Ocean and surrounded by world-renowned forests, Knysna offers a wealth of activities for visitors such as hiking and sailing.

Plettenberg Bay

Day 9 – 11

Moving east along the coast brings you to Plettenberg Bay, a beautiful town with miles of unspoilt beaches.

Eastern Cape Safari

Day 12 – 14

Your final stop, and one worth waiting for, is a chance to experience the Big 5. The area offers malaria free safaris within private game reserves perfect for families.

Day 15

CLASSIC KWAZULU – NATAL

Durban Coastline

Day 1 – 2

On arrival head to the seaside resort town of Umhlanga Rocks, just outside Durban. It is the perfect location for ocean enthusiasts with great opportunities for diving, swimming, scuba diving, whale watching, dolphin viewing, deep sea fishing and kite boarding.

Drakensberg Mountains

Day 3 – 4

Driving inland today, you can’t fail to notice the imposing mountain peaks of the Drakensberg range. This is a UNESCO World Heritage site and forms part of the National Park. There is a wealth of hiking trails to explore on foot, as well as mountain biking, horse riding and nature drives.

Battlefields

Day 5 – 6

Today head into the famous Battlefields, sites that hold centuries of history, you can’t help being moved by the stories of struggles of Anglo-Boer and Anglo-Zulu wars. Visits to Spioenkop, Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift will bring these stories alive.

Hluhluwe Game Reserve

Day 7 – 11

Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve is your last stop, a 94 000-hectare reserve which is not only home to one fifth of the world’s black and white rhino population, but all the Big 5. Game drives and walks are available here as well as nearby water safari activities.

Day 12

Depart homeward bound or continue your adventure to the coast or further adventures in South Africa or neighbouring Botswana, Zambia or Namibia.
