Hwange’s reputation for supporting huge herds of elephant does not disappoint visitors arriving in Zimbabwe’s largest reserve. The excellent guides here will also endeavour to find wild dog, lions and giraffe whilst out on game drives. Terrain ranges from desert dunes and savannah lands to rocky outcrops and sparse forests, and visitors have the choice of game drives, guided walks or horseback safaris as a means of experiencing the park and its creatures.

Whilst Victoria Falls is the main attraction here, there are numerous adrenaline sports to try as well as a visit to Mosi oa Tunya National Park to see the highly protected and rare rhinos.
