Behind the London Livery Companies – Objects and Stories Wednesday 16th March Come and join us to hear the fascinating history of the London Livery Companies, the original trade associations, some dating back to the 12th Century. The Livery Halls today contain rare and intriguing artefacts - portraits, furniture, silver, stained glass etc – which reveal stories behind the history and commercial importance of some of the world’s oldest crafts and guilds. The Society’s purpose is to open the multifacited world of the arts to everyone. It meets in The Cripps Hall, Northampton School for Boys.
