

The Hannaford Bloomin' 4 Good Program was founded with a simple but powerful mission: to support local communities within the Hannaford footprint. Designed to make a tangible difference, the program provides an easy way for shoppers to give back by raising funds for local nonprofits and their important missions.
The program works by donating $1 for each specially marked Bloomin' 4 Good Bouquet purchased by a shopper or supporter These funds are dontated to local nonprofits selected by store leadership, ensuring that the funds directly benefit causes in the areas where Hannaford operates This low-effort, high-impact program is a win-win for both shoppers and the communities we serve By participating, shoppers are not only bringing home beautiful bouquets but also helping to make a lasting difference where it matters most right in their own neighborhoods.

In Q1 2024, the Bloomin' 4 Good Program maintained steady p with bouquets sold totaling 8,337 in January, 9,752 in February March. March sales were notably higher than previous years, d Easter and Saint Patrick's Day holidays.
Numbers saw a slight decrease in April, with 9,209 bouquets so dip was minor, the month was significant, as the program reached a milestone of $300,000 in donations raised since its inception. In May, sales rebounded to 10,943 bouquets, driven by warmer weather, graduation season, and Mother's Day. June closed out Q2 with steady performance, raising a total of $9,511 for selected nonprofits
The third quarter began with 8,542 bouquets sold in July, followed by a slight increase to 9,105 in August Following typical seasonal shopping trends, September saw a decline to 8,118 bouquets sold.
October kickstarted Q4 with $8,683 in donations raised. In November, a cyberattack impacted inventory, resulting in an out-of-stock status across the Hannaford footprint This led to a lower-than-average total of 6,643 bouquets sold that month By early December, inventory was replenished, and numbers saw a slight increase, with 7,231 bouquets sold throughout the month.
Overall, the Bloomin' 4 Good Program raised $106,372 in 2024, continuing to support local communities and nonprofit initiatives.

On Sunday, April 21, 2024, the Bloomin' 4 Good Program surpassed 300,000 bouquets sold since its inception. This achievement represents $300,000 in donations sent to local nonprofits, helping raise awareness for various causes while providing funds to support the positive change these organizations are creating within Hannaford communities
In May, the Program saw its highest sales month of 2024, with 10,943 bouquets sold. This surge was driven by spring shopping trends, graduation season, and various holidays in May. Notably, Mother's Day weekend alone accounted for 3,184 bouquets sold, representing a 107% increase compared to all other weekends in the month.
For the second consecutive year, District 20 achieved the highest sales, with 11,900 bouquets sold in 2024. This number exceeded the sales of the next highest district by over 1,000 bouquets.
When a nonprofit organization is selected to benefit from the Hannaford Helps Bloomin’ 4 Good Program, organizations are given all the marketing tools they need to promote their selection month to their support networks Each mention of Hannaford in print and online generates earned media and increases brand visibility. By advertising their selection, nonprofits/hunger relief organizations are spreading information about Hannaford and strengthening its reputation as a community-oriented store
