‘OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT FOR ALL’
This exciting modern educational establishment opened in September 2015 and is run by Bohunt Education Trust, an innovative multi-academy trust, whose founding school won TES School of the Year. Our curriculum has strong international links and is based around an academic core of English, Maths, Science, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths), Languages, Humanities and the Arts. We are a busy and vibrant school with high expectations and aspirations for members of our learning community, both academically and holistically. Our school is a happy place of learning for all.
Enjoyable learning takes place in a stimulating, vibrant environment and within a framework of high expectations. We value the love of learning, we promote characteristics that make lifelong learners such as curiosity, hard work, critical thinking and a thirst for knowledge.
Respect is the bridge between enjoyment and achievement. We champion characteristics that will ensure our learners make the world a better place such as empathy, tolerance and kindness.
We empower our learners and support them in building the characteristics that will help them to overcome obstacles that may stand in the way of achieving their potential such as resilience, confidence, and courage. Achievement for us is more than just academic attainment, we value personal growth and experience just as highly.
Bohunt School Worthing is one of our newest schools. This modern school sits as part of our family of schools and promotes the innovative approach to education that is the hallmark of all Bohunt Education Trust’s schools.
Bohunt School Worthing thrives from being part of a vibrant, ambitious and dynamic local trust, characterised by exceptional opportunity and experiences.
Our success is based on an approach, which combines the highest academic expectations, an ethos of ‘enjoy, respect, achieve’ and sensitivity to learners’ individual needs. We believe education should be enjoyable. We are passionate about learning and determined there be no ceiling to student experience or outcomes. Our commitment is to enable students to achieve outstanding grades and be ‘game-changers’, innovators and leaders.

At Bohunt School Worthing, we maintain that respect is the essential link between enjoyment and achievement. Our teachers are passionate for, and expert in, the subjects they teach; they always go the extra mile to provide unparalleled learning experiences. Challenging our students to think critically and creatively beyond the taught timetable.
We view learning as an iterative process that involves taking calculated risks, embracing inevitable mistakes, and ultimately achieving success. Our commitment to high expectations transcends the classroom, as we explicitly teach, model, and enforce a high standard of respect. A culture of high expectations necessitates a strong culture of learning across the school, enabling students to gain exam success, which is essential to providing positive life choices for all students, and is fundamental within our core values of ‘enjoy respect achieve’.
“ It is absolutely apparent how well you know my daughter, and as a parent, there is nothing more important that I would like to be reassured of.”
BOHUNT WORTHING PARENT
We believe that our commitment is not just to our students but to their families. Before your child starts at Bohunt School Worthing we will involve you in school life with events to welcome you and to support you in getting your child ready to join our school community. We work with our families for a common goal; to help raise children who have the skills and knowledge as well as the characteristics they need to go out into the world as happy, safe and successful adults.
We are a non-selective school and our admissions policy prioritises students who are looked after, those with an education health care plan, then those with siblings already attending the school and those with a parent working at the school. Places are then allocated based on geographical distance from the site of the permanent school, postcode: BN14 8AH. Our admissions policy can be found on our website, www.bohuntworthing.com
“ There really is something for everyone. The school is welcoming and has such a happy, positive vibe.”
Highly qualified staff offer exceptional experiences outside the curriculum and beyond the school gates. Students are challenged to problem solve, take risks and experience new ideas, emotions and activities. A focus on expressive arts; sports and personal health, and culture encourages all students to become adept and confident communicators.
