WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY OF SCHOOLS
Established in 2014, BET is a multi-academy trust (MAT) bringing excellence in education and real benefits to over 12,000 young people, regardless of their background, across the south east and beyond.

ABOUT BET
We are a growing, progressive MAT of non-fee paying schools, working together with shared values and standards to ensure consistency and excellence for all our students.
Our family comprises primary, secondary, all-through schools and sixth forms. Our schools span education authorities across the south east, including Hampshire, Portsmouth, Wokingham and Sussex.
BET’S VISION
Our vision is one of the highest expectations, an ethos of ‘enjoy, respect, achieve’, unparalleled opportunity and highly effective teaching which combine to develop students who are ‘game-changers.’

Through the highest quality of leadership across primary and secondary schools and a strong emphasis on learning beyond the classroom, we believe BET’s offering is second-to-none.
Our founding school, Bohunt School in Liphook, Hampshire, is in the top 1% of schools nationally for GCSE results, is a Times Parent Power Top 20 School and has been awarded TES School of the Year. Lauded for the breadth of its educational offering, our ethos, ‘enjoy, respect, achieve’ now permeates all our schools.

OUR APPROACH
Since its inception, BET has enjoyed outstanding academic success, bringing its expertise and excellence to other schools, benefitting students and teachers alike. Our approach is seeing fantastic results. Under BET, a number of our schools have made improvement from Ofsted RI to Good or Outstanding.
BET LEARNING
BET’s approach to teaching and learning is innovative and immersive - a rich blend of the latest education thinking, technology and practice in and outside the classroom. Across all our schools, we have introduced a range of game-changing teaching methods, including language immersion in Mandarin, cross-cultural projects with Sweden, China and Germany, and an integrated Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) curriculum developed in partnership with business and industry.

WORKING AT BET
Our teachers and support staff enjoy the opportunity to fast-track their careers, experience different roles, departments and schools; share best practice and enjoy more flexibility, all whilst staying with the same employer. We have high performance expectations: our leadership opportunities are extensive and we are committed to supporting our staff, both with their professional development and wellbeing.
