The Club has recently recruited a full-time finance manager, and you will collaborate with them to ensure effective financial management, including programme budgeting and impact assessment.

You will also work with the Board, as the Club accesses new avenues of financial support and funding.

3. HR and Personnel Management:

- Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of staff, ensuring the development of a skilled and motivated team.

- Implement HR policies and procedures, fostering a positive work culture and maintaining compliance with employment laws.

- Provide leadership and guidance in addressing personnel issues, conflict resolution, and employee development.

4. Policy Enforcement:

- Develop and enforce organizational policies to ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for both staff and community members.

- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to review and update policies as necessary, staying abreast of legal and regulatory changes.

- Conduct periodic audits to ensure policy adherence and recommend improvements where needed.

- Supervise and support the safeguarding function within the Club to ensure it is complying with the highest standards

5. Key Stakeholder Management:

- Act as the primary liaison between the organization and key stakeholders, including government bodies, funders, and partner organizations.

- Cultivate and nurture relationships with stakeholders, seeking collaboration and support for the Harrow Club's mission and initiatives.

- Represent the organization at external events, conferences, and meetings to enhance its visibility and influence.

6. Board Communication:

- Work closely with the Chair and the Board of Directors, providing regular updates on organizational activities, financial performance, and strategic plans.

- Collaborate with the Board to develop and implement governance structures, policies, and procedures.

- Seek guidance and approval from the Board on significant organizational decisions and initiatives.

7. Leadership Team Management:

- Lead and inspire the leadership team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

- Coordinate efforts with other executives to align organizational strategies and ensure effective execution of programs and initiatives.

- Experience in executive-level management or senior leadership roles in the 3rd Sector.

- Proven track record of leading diverse teams and managing complex operations.

- Strategic thinking with the ability to drive organizational growth and improve efficiency.

- Strong decision-making capabilities, especially under pressure

- A demonstrable track record in youth work is very welcome

Operational and Financial Oversight

- Operational acumen to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the organisation.

- Problem-solving skills to streamline processes and manage resources efficiently.

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience collaborating with compliance teams to maintain adherence.

Human Resources (HR) Expertise and Sensitivity

- Understanding of HR practices, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
