SAFE DRIVERS
• 3-Year Accident Free—When the rated drivers at new business have a clean driving record in the past 35 months.
• 5-Year Accident Free—When the customer at new business has a clean driving record in the past 59 months.
• 5-Year Claims Free—Rewards drivers who’ve been insured with Progressive for five years and have no claims on their record.
RESPONSIBILITY
• Continuous Insurance—When the named insured has been continuously covered by personal auto liability insurance with the same carrier for at least six months with a lapse of 31 days or less.
• Homeowner—When the insured owns a home, townhome, or condominium.
YOUTHFUL
• Teen Driver—Driver must be single, 18 years of age or younger, rated, and the child of the primary named insured (PNI).
• Distant Student—When the driver is a full-time student under age 23 and is not the named insured or spouse. School is at least 100 miles from garaging ZIP code and the driver does not have a vehicle.
• Good Student—When the licensed driver is under age 23 and is not the NI or spouse and is in good academic standing (3.0 GPA or higher).
VEHICLE
Smart Technology—Available for vehicles equipped with automatic emergency braking (AEB) as part of the manufacturer’s original factory build. Aftermarket equipment, even dealer installed, will not be eligible for a discount.
• Snapshot®—A game-changing program that gives drivers the chance to save on car insurance based on their driving habits.
POLICY LEVEL
• Multi Car—When there is more than one vehicle on the policy.
• Multi Policy—When the customer has another type of policy in force with Progressive. The other policy may cover an auto, boat, motorcycle, manufactured home, motorhome, RV, snowmobile, travel trailer, or commercial auto. Bigger savings to customers who bundle coverage with Progressive in the first policy period.
BILL PLANS
• Automatic Card Payment (ACP)—If the customer selects an ACP method bill plan, a discount applies. The new business initial payment must be paid via the insured’s credit card or debit card and the same card must be used for future payments. The insured must maintain a valid email address.
• Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)—The customer selects an EFT payment method bill plan. If the customer changes to or from an EFT payment method bill plan, the discount will be applied or removed effective the date of the change.
• Paid In Full—The customer chooses a one-pay bill plan and pays the premium without using outside premium financing. If the insured chooses a one-pay bill plan mid policy term, the customer will maintain any existing payment method discount until the end of the policy term. If the insured chooses a different bill plan, the discount will be removed effective the date of the change.
Additional features included in policy
Small Accident Forgiveness—With Small Accident Forgiveness, your rate won’t go up if you need to report a small claim. Generally, a “small claim” is anything under $500, but this varies by state, so be sure to call us to find out what applies in your state.
Accident Forgiveness at Renewal—Your rate won’t go up if you need to report a claim, regardless of the amount. You’ll earn this benefit when you’ve been with us for five years continuously and your policy has been free from violations and claims for the previous three years.
Pet Injury—Just maintain Comprehensive and Collision coverages for one vehicle and we’ll cover up to $1,000 for your dogs or cats if they’re injured in an accident or during a fire or theft.

PERSONAL AUTO
Our product allows your customers the flexibility to choose the coverage they need, customize options to fit their lifestyle, and the ability to save when they own a home, pay their policy in full, insure multiple cars, or have more than one policy with Progressive. We also offer excellent claims service, end-to-end.

Auto and Home coverage from Progressive provides a great bundle and more choices for your best customers. We offer even more Multi Policy and Homeowner discounts, a single deductible, and a powerful national brand that brings customers in the door. COVERAGE OPTIONS
• Start at state minimums for those wanting a basic policy with BI/PD limits ranging from high split and combined single limits for preferred business.
• Up to:
— Higher BI/PD limits: 500/500/250
— $2,000 deductible for Collision
— $2,000 deductible for Comprehensive with $50 Full Window Glass deductible
— $50/day rental car for customers who want a nicer rental
— $0 deductible glass
LOAN/LEASE PAYOFF
• Pays the difference between what you own on your loan or lease and how much your car is worth. Pays up to 25% over the actual cash value (ACV).
• Can be purchased for newly purchased and pre-owned vehicles.
RENTAL COVERAGE
Rental Reimbursement provides coverage for rental car costs to temporarily replace an insured auto due to a covered loss. Please review the policy contract for complete coverage information. Rental Reimbursement may be purchased for any vehicle covered by Collision coverage.
ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE COVERS EVENTS SUCH AS:
• Battery failure, keys locked in the car, towing, out of gas, flat tire, and mechanical covered.
• 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Sign & Drive.
• No out-of-pocket expense.
DEDUCTIBLE SAVINGS BANK (DSB)
This option can lower customers’ deductibles by $50 for every policy period that they remain accident free and receive no specific violations. The DSB will apply to all vehicles on a policy that have Comprehensive and Collision coverage.
RIDESHARE INSURANCE
This option covers an individual driver who is logged into one or more transportation network company (TNC) apps while driving a covered vehicle by offering protection to fill most of the gaps between coverages provided by their Personal Auto policy and the TNC policy.
Vehicle information
RATING
• Enter the vehicle VIN or the year, make, and model into Progressive systems. Rating factors will automatically be assigned.
GARAGING ZIP
• Enter the ZIP code where the vehicle is principally garaged and your quoting system will automatically assign the proper rating factor. If a vehicle on the policy is garaged out of state, the Liability limits for the policy must meet or exceed the minimum Liability limits for the state in which the vehicle is garaged.
DESCRIPTIONS
• Stated amount vehicles cannot have a value exceeding $150,000.
• Vehicle with gross vehicle weight less than 12,000 pounds.
• Progressive does not sell stated value or agreed value policies.
• Named Operator provides BI/PD Liability, Med Pay, UM/UIM, First Party Benefits, and PIP (if offered) to an individual who does not own an auto.
USE
• Pleasure: vehicles not used for business/commercial purposes or commuting to work or school.
• Commute: vehicles used to drive back and forth to work or school.
• Farm: vehicles used primarily on a farm, ranch, or orchard.
• Business: if your vehicle (trailer not included) is used for one or all of the following:
— Used to make sales calls.
— Used for occasional trips to the bank or post office.
— Used to pick up supplies at different locations (unless the purpose of the business is delivering supplies).
— Or, if you are required to list your employer as an additional interest for liability protection under the policy.
Driver information
LISTED DRIVERS
• The following drivers must be listed on the policy; however, they may qualify to be excluded or list only:
— All resident relatives of permit or legal driving age, regardless if they drive a vehicle.
— Any other drivers who operate an insured vehicle on the policy. The term “eligible-to-be-rated driver” refers to any person who is required to be disclosed on the application (all resident relatives above the legal driving age and any other person who drives a covered vehicle), other than excluded drivers, list only drivers, and young drivers with learner’s permits.
DRIVER EXCLUSIONS
• You may exclude any driver from the policy.
• We will consider unlicensed operators for rating, unless excluded.
• You cannot exclude drivers from specific vehicles on a policy.
• Individuals who have never been licensed or who have a permanently revoked license are unacceptable risks and must be excluded.
LICENSE STATUS/TYPES
• List Only—Driver information is listed on the policy, but driving record information does not affect premium. The driver is not excluded, so coverage may apply.
• Permit Rating—Drivers who have a learner’s permit, are single, under the age of 19, and are children of the named insured will not be included in the rating of the policy.
• Excluded—Driver information is listed on the policy, but driving record information does not affect premium. Excluded driver is not provided coverage if involved in an accident while operating the insured vehicle. In most cases, excluded drivers have their own insurance.
• Revoked, Suspended, or Canceled Licenses are acceptable
— Drivers with a temporarily revoked, suspended, or canceled license at any time during the chargeable violation period will be considered for rating.
— Drivers with a permanently revoked license are unacceptable risks. The driver must be excluded for us to accept other household residents on the policy.
• Foreign and International Driver’s Licenses (FDL/IDL) are acceptable
— Drivers who have a valid foreign or international driver’s license, but not a valid U.S. or Canadian license, will be charged with a major violation until the renewal after which they are able to submit proof of a valid U.S. or Canadian license that has been in effect for at least 12 months.
— Enter “FDL” violation code in your quoting system.
FILING
• Progressive notifies the DMV of your filing electronically to help expedite the process and save you time.
Violations
Chargeable accidents and violations
• Period for chargeable accidents and violations is the 35 months prior to the effective date of the policy.
Mid-policy period violation removal
• The agent, named insured, second named insured, spouse of either, or driver must request the accident or violation be removed.
Customer care that puts your customers first
Superior claims service
• Customers can report claims through the Progressive mobile app, online, or by phone any time of day.
• A claims representative will contact customers by the end of the next business day to answer questions and begin the next steps of the claims process.
• We help arrange vehicle repair service and towing, if needed. Customers can use a repair facility in Progressive’s network of repair shops. Customers can also select their own repair facility.
• Progressive keeps customers informed about their claim by periodically checking the status of repairs and addressing any further issues while their vehicle is in the shop. Customers can check the status of their claim on our website.

Photo Estimate
• Self-service solution that keeps your customer in the driver’s seat.
• Allows customers who opt not to repair or are undecided about a repair to receive an estimate after sending photos and a video of vehicle damage.
• Time-saving alternative to an in-person inspection.
Network
• Shop relationship with Progressive, quicker repairs.
• Progressive lifetime repair guarantee.
• Rental cars available at some locations, close by at others.
Non-Network
• Customer can choose shop based on prior experience, knowledge, proximity, etc.
• Shop is responsible for all repair quality and works directly with the customer.
Not Repairing
• No out-of-pocket expense for deductible (insured).
• Cash for repairs may be more important than fixing the vehicle.
QUICK AND EASY QUOTING ON FAO
To start a new quote:
1. Go to ForAgentsOnly.com (FAO) and start a new quote.
2. Select the state and product from the list. Click Start.
3. Answer all the questions, paying close attention to underwriting and discount fields.
4. Talk to your customer thoroughly about accidents and violations during the quote to eliminate surprises when you run MVRs at the Point of Sale tab.
5. Customize coverages for the customer based on his or her needs. If you have any questions, click in the quoting screen for more information or call us at 1-877-776-2436.
6. Choose payment options and present the quote.

Binding the policy
The policy effective date cannot be more than 60 days in the future. A small percentage of quotes may require additional verification by our Underwriting team prior to binding and upload. If this is the case, you’ll be notified in ForAgentsOnly.com (FAO) of the steps needed for verification.
Use the quoting system’s point of sale (POS) feature to order your customers’ credit reports, MVRs, and CLUE reports, and to verify their VIN.
Progressive orders credit history reports in order to offer an accurate quote. If the customer objects, you won’t be able to sell the policy.
MVR costs
We share the cost of MVRs ordered at point of sale with agents. If the policy is ... Then ...
Sold within 30 days We cover the full cost of the MVR.

Plan ahead when providing a customer with a quote.
Double-check that you entered the correct driver’s license number for each driver and the full name as it appears on the driver’s license. This eliminates chargeable no-hits and incorrect orders for drivers other than those on the application.
