All of our swim classes are taught by highly trained and/or certified water safety instructors. We use the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program to provide the highest quality instruction. Our primary goal is to teach all participants to swim to the best of their ability in a safe, fun and friendly environment.

Looking for a good workout, but concerned about stress on your joints? Try our Aqua Fitness class! It is aerobic exercises performed in the shallow end of the pool, using the water as resistance. Our Aqua Fitness class helps you build cardiovascular stamina, strength, balance and flexibility by placing resistance on your muscles yet has a fraction of the stress and strain on your body.

Zumba Gold
Improve your health from the inside out as you energize your body and mind. Learn exciting new moves like salsa, merengue and cumbia. The movements and pace are modified but we keep all the flavor and excitement of the party. The results are amazing!

All fitness levels are invited to “GET FIT WITH THE HITS!” These easy to follow movement combinations, set to some awesome tunes, are taught in a low impact format with opportunities to ‘pick it up’ if you prefer. Challenge your muscles with resistance tubing (supplied by the instructor) or bring your own light weights. No floorwork. Complete your workout with a relaxing stretch. Our “GET FIT WITH THE HITS!” class is taught by an expert instructor with loads of experience.

Cardio Drumming & Toning
– AM Drop-In Class
Cardio Drumming is a full body workout. We move to the rhythm of music using drum sticks, yoga ball and a bucket. We will also focus on toning using light hand weights. No experience is needed. Cardio Drumming is great for all fitness levels.
NOTE: Drum kits loaners available (bucket, ball, sticks).

Learn to line dance with Connie. Clear instruction and easy to follow lessons. No experience necessary! No partners needed! You will be exercising and having fun while learning the latest line dances. Better yet, the line dancing will enable you to learn balance, rhythm, timing, poise and posture. Woodhaven Senior Club





If you are a Woodhaven resident, and 62 or older, there is a world of opportunity waiting for you at the Woodhaven Community Center!






!You can join the Woodhaven Senior Club, which has a wide variety of activities to choose from: Bocce Ball Mondays at 9:30 a.m.; Lunch Bunch outing one Monday per month; card games every Tuesday; Bingo on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays as well as on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays; and enjoy, Pinochle every Tuesday at Noon and “31” card game on 2nd and 4th Tuesday. Please see our monthly calendar for dates and times. A Movie Day is held one Friday per month at the Center as well.












Outside of the scheduled events listed, you can enjoy many other travel excursions and activities that change in variety each month, such as: Plays, Casino Trips, Museums, Tours, Dinners, Movies, Feather Bowling, winery visits, ice cream shops, and the list goes on, and on! We even have our own 23 passenger bus which is utilized for our excursions, and it helps keep costs down.











Trips and new activities are announced at the Business Meeting each month and are open to the Club members for 2 weeks. If the trip has not filled up in those 2 weeks, it is then opened to the public. Don’t miss out on these wonderful opportunities to make new friends and experience new adventures!


Senior Club business meeting is on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, and the Senior Social catered luncheon is on the 4th Wednesday of each month.

Woodhaven on Wheels is a curb-to-curb transportation service, providing a means of transportation for senior citizens and residents who are unable to drive for medical reasons.

Eligible to residents age 62 and older and if under age 62 with disability and unable to drive due to medical reasons.

Reservation requests for the Park Pavilion begin the first Monday in April for Residents, and the first Monday in May for Non-Residents.
W Pavilion opens at 8:00 a.m. and closes at 10:00 p.m.
W NO Fires; NO Alcoholic Beverages; and NO Parking on the grass.
W The Rental Party of this agreement hereby waives any and all claims against the City of Woodhaven, its agents or employees and assumes the responsibility of defending any claims of third parties as a result of rental party’s conduct.
W There will be a non-refundable fee to reserve the Park Pavilion on a Saturday or Sunday.
