•Safe Haven•
As the turtle carries its own shell and can't separate itself from its 'Safe Haven', neither can we isolate ourselves from the connections we hold with the earth and nature. A concept for the co-working space "Second Home", which includes wellness spaces in corporate offices, the design takes inspiration from the meaning and symbolism of a turtle - longevity retreat, healing, tranquility, the Earth, and transformation.
Wellness can influence the user's physical and emotional health, growth, and development; while also experiencing comfort, refreshment and belongingness.
They will also feel a sense of safety and homeliness, while staying connected to the roots of nature. To address the same, the design will make use of earthy materials - wood, plants, stone - and design principles - unity, movement and balance.
