THANK YOU PLSAS Community

Thank you Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools voters! Both school funding requests on the November 7 ballot were approved. • Question 1 bond funds: 62.16% yes • Question 2 operating levy increase: 62.42% yes These voter-approved funds are investments in our community’s future and will help ensure our students have the spaces, staff and materials they need to succeed. The two school funding requests on the November 7 ballot were based on months of planning by a 50-member community Facilities Task Force, district staff and the School Board following a failed attempt in 2016. Meanwhile, the school district continued to grow: • Since 2000, PLSAS has averaged more than 225 additional students per year.

• Most schools are already at or over capacity, and more families keep moving in. • Projections indicate the growth will continue, with more than 2,100 additional K-12 students anticipated in the next ten years. Moving forward, we will be sure to communicate next steps with our community including design phases, timelines and construction updates for our building additions, new elementary school and new Bridges Area Learning Center, so that everyone can see their investment come to life. On behalf of our 8,500 students and more than 1,000 staff, thank you again for your support. It is so very appreciated! Be well,

Teri Staloch, Ed. D. Superintendent #WeArePLSAS
