Prior Lake-Savage Community Education works with specialists in their fields who are interested in presenting classes in their areas of expertise to the community. We do not endorse the opinions or business affiliations of the instructors. All financial seminars are carefully screened to ensure they are strictly informational in nature. Although most seminars are presented by professional financial planners, the design is nonbiased and non-sales oriented. You will not be pressured to make a purchase or meet with sales people. We prohibit the direct distribution of flyers, pamphlets or marketing materials that promote specific products, services or companies. We do, however, offer you the opportunity to receive an instructor’s business card or you can ask for more information should you have additional, specific questions that go beyond the content or time frame of the seminar. We hope your participation in these programs will be enjoyable. For questions, call Jenny at 952-226-0085.

Thank you for choosing Community Education! Community Education follows PLSAS’ Strategic Plan, when choosing programming for all learners to help them develop skills, determine interests and discover talents. Last year, with the community’s help, we formed a new strategic direction to provide a safe, secure and supportive environment that nurtures the social and emotional well-being of all learners.

Teri Staloch, Ed. D. One of the ways we support students’ social and emotional well-being is through the hundreds of Community Education programs we provide throughout the school Superintendent year to learners of all ages to help students feel connected to the community in which they live. Similarly, our Kids’ Company before and after-school program provides activities where students are nurtured and kept safe in an environment that is designed to be recreational, educational and meet the individual needs of all children. In addition, we offer more than sixty co-curricular programs to high school students, along with Positive Behavior Support Interventions in all of our schools to promote safe learning environments and positive behaviors. We are now reviewing these and other social and emotional resources, along with ways we can continue to keep our schools as safe as possible. I am grateful for our community and staff who share a commitment to students’ social and emotional well-being so that together, we can help ensure all students Visit - 952-226-0080 reach www.priorlakesavagece.com their full potential in a caring and supportive environment.
