We are really excited about the wonderful line-up of shows we have this year. It is great to see some fabulous shows returning to us, including Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Chicago, Thriller Live and Cats - all back by popular demand! We are also thrilled to welcome some new productions, particularly The Sound of Music which is here in August and Sunny Afternoon which will be here 18 - 22 October. Sunny Afternoon was voted Best New Musical at the Olivier Awards in 2015 so we know we are all in for a treat when it rocks up in Torquay. If you would like any further information about any of the shows or the services we offer, please do give us a call and we will be more than happy to help. I would also recommend taking some time to read through the Theatre Card information to see what discounts are available. There really are some great savings to be made, so do please have a look through and again, if you need any more information, please give us a call. I hope you have a wonderful time on your next visit to the Princess Theatre. We are very passionate about our customer service so please do let us know if there is anything that we could do to make your visit to us even more enjoyable. Thank you for supporting the Princess Theatre we couldn’t do it without you! Best wishes,

LYN PAUL RETURNS FROM HER WEST END RUN ‘THE DEFINITIVE MRS JOHNSTONE’ MANCHESTER EVENING NEWS The legendary Blood Brothers tells the captivating and moving tale of twins who, separated at birth, grow up on opposite sides of the tracks, only to meet again with fateful consequences. Few musicals have received quite such acclaim as the multi award-winning Blood Brothers. Bill Kenwright’s production surpassed 10,000 performances in London’s West End, one of only three musicals ever to achieve that milestone. Lyn Paul returns to the iconic role she has played many times in the West End, in fact she was the final Mrs Johnstone when the show closed at the Phoenix Theatre in 2012. The superb score includes Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and Tell Me It’s Not True.

The Mousetrap is famous around the world for being the longest running show of any kind in the history of theatre, with over 26,000 performances. This record-breaking 60th anniversary production is back by popular demand in 2016 starring Louise Jameson (Doctor Who, EastEnders, Doc Martin) as Mrs Boyle. The scene is set when a group of people gathered in a country house cut off by the snow discover, to their horror, that there is a murderer in their midst. Who can it be? One by one the suspicious characters reveal their sordid pasts until at the last, nerveshredding moment the identity and the motive are finally revealed. In her own inimitable style, Dame Agatha Christie has created an atmosphere of shuddering suspense and a brilliantly intricate plot where murder lurks around every corner. www.MousetrapOnTour.com Age recommendation 12+

Following the phenomenal decade long success of The Agatha Christie Theatre Company, which has sold over two million tickets and continually played to packed houses around the UK, Bill Kenwright presents a new production from the pen of the legendary award winning writing team Levinson and Link, whose work includes the mystery series Murder, She Wrote and Columbo. Playwright Alex Dennison is left heartbroken when his fiancée and leading lady Monica Welles is found dead from an apparent suicide. On the anniversary of that ill-fated night, Alex assembles the same cast and crew in the same theatre, for a reading of his new play.
