DEAR READER 10 years ago, we held the very first edition of the magazine in our hands. It was a special moment and we were so proud. A big dream of ours came true but at the same time, we worried about whether everything would work out or not. From the very beginning, we published the magazine ourselves through our small publishing company and we’ve never been fully advertisement-funded like other magazines.

Only you, the readers, decided and still decide whether or not we’re going to play a role on this market. I guess that you’d like us to because we’re still here…We want to thank you so much for supporting us, for your loyalty and for all your sweet greetings throughout the years. It all means so very much to us and we’re still delighted to create the magazine for you – every single time.

A couple of new article series are planned for this year; however, basically, the style is the good old one: our own version of authentic, French country style combined with Nordic and romantic elements.

Celebrating our anniversary, we’re once again visiting one of the homes that we featured in our first edition and we’ve organized a small competition where you can win nice prizes from our product range.

BROCANTE WORLD Beppie and her husband Sjaak have been living in their corner home in Neder-Betuwe since 2009. The house is located in wonderful surroundings by the river Waal in the Netherlands. Beppie loves the look of the house, the garden with a couple of free-range chicks, and the neighborhood.

Passionate about recycling and flea market finds, she’s furnished a nice, light home with lots of personality.
