Women of Creativity

Women of Creativity At Presentation, the stage is set for student innovation and creativity. Supported by state-of-the-art facilities and dedicated faculty, our students flourish on stage, behind the scenes and in the classroom. Many of our graduates go on to pursue performing arts in college, with many going on to professional careers.

Choir Bella Voce: Lauded with five unanimous superior ratings and gold rankings, Bella Voce—our auditioned choir for sophomores, juniors and seniors—consistently shines at choral festivals throughout the country and abroad.

Cantabile: Our auditioned freshman ensemble allows students to learn proper singing technique, explore various styles of choral music, and explore music theory.

Dance Dance Team: Presentation’s competitive dance team has earned national titles in 2015, 2016 and 2017 at the Contest of Champions. Performances range from jazz, lyrical, modern, musical theater and hip-hop. Starting in 2018, the Dance Team has grown to include a JV competitive team.

Dance Company: Presentation has a performance Dance Company, which gives students the opportunity to take jazz, modern and ballet classes and perform at school events.

Theater Main Stage Shows: Presentation’s vibrant theater arts program offers three full-scale productions each year: a fall musical, a winter musical and a spring play.

Student-Run Productions: In addition to our main stage productions, students are able to put on their own shows, handling every aspect from on-stage performance, production, set design and directing.

Behind-the-Scenes Opportunities:

Besides performing, students also have the opportunity to learn about technical theater by joining our backstage crews. Students can take leadership roles as stage managers or work behind-the-scenes to make sure design elements run smoothly.

Alum Spotlight

Gina Saglimbeni ’18, Theater, Loyola University Chicago

“Pres gave me so many opportunities to explore my love of the arts, both in the classroom and on stage. As an I.T.S. Officer, choir president and theater performer, I was given the space, time, attention, and support that allowed me to creatively explore my passions and discover what I loved. The staff at Presentation really does all that they can to provide a space for students to grow creatively. Whether it’s through projects, writing, speaking, drawing, performing and so much more.”
