At Presentation, education is empowerment. Women of Intellect

Each student is encouraged to think critically, speak and write clearly, and apply her knowledge to 21st century problem-solving. Presentation students are taught how to think, not what to think, giving them knowledge and confidence to discover their own unique voices and points of view. That confidence, combined with a multi-faceted curriculum, instills students with the skills they need for success. In fact, students and parents consistently name our strong academic program as their number one reason for choosing Presentation, and our alumnae credit Presentation with helping them feel prepared, confident and successful in college.

Freshman Year: Typical Schedule A typical freshman schedule includes one year of English, World History, Religion, Math, Science and Modern Language. Freshmen also take one semester of Computer Applications. Electives are offered in the areas of Visual and Performing Arts, Physical Education, Computer Technology and Rhetoric.

Block Schedule Presentation utilizes a block schedule with 85-minute classes; 3-4 classes are held daily. We find the block schedule supports different learning styles by allowing time for lectures, large and small group activities and interactive discussions. This schedule has many advantages, one of which being that it most closely mimics a college schedule

Individualized Support The Presentation Study Center provides academic guidance and support for students by offering goal-setting strategies, homework help and study skills sessions. One-on-one tutoring is also available.
