Donors Like You Were the Star of a Jazz-Filled Night! WOW! You raised over $300,000! The 13th annual Presbyterian Villages of Michgan Foundation Gala was a fantastic evening and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate with YOU, the people who create new opportunities for older adults. YOU are keeping older adults from homelessness. YOU are providing opportunities for veterans like Mr. Will Henderson, who PVM President and CEO, Roger Myers recognized on stage, and YOU are making Michigan a better place to live at any age. That’s something special. And, what a special night it was! Resident Ambassadors from 17 Villages welcomed guests to the party. The All That Jazz! gala kicked off with a signature cocktail, “The PVM Pizzazz,” as the Oakland University Jazz Band provided the entertainment.

Thank you to our event chairs (L to R) Angela & Ron Goldsberry and Shirley & Ron Gillham.

Resident “party perkers” from Westland’s The Village of Our Saviour’s Manor filled the night with energy and were a great example of how PVM residents can really jazz things up! Speaking of jazzing things up—Louise Rush, a resident from The Village of Our Saviour’s Manor, brought some great laughs and introduced special treats from fellow residents! YOU are true friends to older adults and we are grateful to have had the opportunity to celebrate with you. With your help, the reasons to celebrate—access to quality housing, life-saving services, and innovations in wellness and technology—will keep coming! Thank you!

Roger Myers thanked PVM resident and veteran Will Henderson for his service before recognizing and thanking all veterans in the crowd.

Resident ambassadors represented 17 PVM communities.

The Oakland University Jazz Band provided entertainment. They were joined by a special surprise — stilts!

ABOVE: Residents joined the band on stage for a special sing-a-long of “It Don’t Mean A Thing.” RIGHT: What a wonderful evening! Thank YOU for making all of this possible!
