ahiss Creativity and design, lending momentum to the new brand ahiss is a brand created in the summer of 2009, marketing accessories and “full of enthusiasm and a passion for working hard on a project that breathes creativity and is free of any pre-conceived ideas”, states Carlos J. López Pacheco, the promoter of this collaboration initiative with his partner, Ma. del Mar Rubiales, illustrator Alejandra Fernández and Oscar Soriano in charge of marketing and the company’s website. “After over 20 years fully dedicated to the design and making of prototypes for various companies in the sector, as both freelancer or employee, I chose to make and market my own designs, and it is proving to be very rewarding”, López Pacheco adds. ahiss is dedicated – and responsibly so – to the process of producing products with full charge of every stage: the design of collections, selection of leathers and fabrics, the making of prototypes, and production of their own models. “ahiss accessories stand out for the exclusive design of prints that identify our purses, and our manufacturing process, as already traditional in Ubrique, follows the tradition of craftsmanship. We seek trendy colours for our leathers and fabrics, addressing clients who value originality and exclusive design in products that are never massproduced. It is originality and quality, at average prices”, says the creator of this brand. The team of ahiss is already working in the next collection of purses and accessories, following the same philosophy: creating new print designs, to apply to new models. “We even test some of our models right in the middle of our campaigns, and it’s very advantageous because we can design and make our own products in this way”, López Pacheco comments.

Among the main projects, ahiss wants to strengthen its brand positioning and style. To this date, all results point to the attainment of this goal, for ahiss has received interesting proposals from the US, Italy and France, based on their designs. “We also visit major international tradeshows in this sector, for they are an excellent opportunity for us to make contact with other people and communicate about our brand. We are aware this is the right path and that we must never rush. Our next step is to find agents in Spain and France, as a means of empowering our way to expansion”, Carlos J. López Pacheco explains at the end of our interview.
