Liebe Gäste Das Beste oder nichts, das sagt die Automarke mit dem Stern. Wir haben uns im Rahmen unserer Partnerschaft mit den Mercedes-Benz Fashion Days auch gleich diesem Motto bedient. Dafür haben wir sogar mehrere Gründe.

Zum einen sind wir als Park Hyatt Zürich nun schon zum vierten Mal der offizielle Catering-Partner der Mercedes-Benz Fashion Days.

For this issue, only the best was good enough for us to offer you stories that you have certainly never read before in this form. On the one hand, the above mentioned S-Class – of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Days – accompanies us on our trip to the Côte d’Azur and to cut a long story short, a ride in a car simply cannot be any more stylish than the way we did it.

The journey took us via Geneva, Annecy, Grenoble and Sisteron to Gargas in the middle of Provence. Here, we visited the Domaine de la Coquillade and I am almost inclined to say that this is possibly the best hotel between Aix-enProvence and Toulon. In fact, it is a lot more than simply a hotel. It is a power location, a cycling Mecca and, above all, an excellent wine producer. Precisely for this quality, it has won many awards and, quite incidentally, it is owned by a Swiss national. Für mich eines der besten Hotels zwischen Aix-en-Provence und Toulon. Respektive, es ist viel mehr als nur ein Hotel. Es ist ein Kraftort, ein Fahrrad-Mekka und vor allem ein hervorragender Weinproduzent. Speziell dafür hat es schon viele Preise gewonnen. Und ganz nebenbei: Es gehört einem Schweizer. Später führte uns die Reise durch das unberührt schöne und idyllische Hinterland der Côte d’Azur, direkt an die magische blaue Küste. Wir mussten hier immer wieder aussteigen und staunen, denn der atemberaubende Blick über das herrliche Mittelmeer überwältigte einen auch im besten Auto immer wieder! Unsere Reise führte uns schliesslich auf die Croisette, die vielleicht berühmteste und bekannteste, aber sicher meist fotografierteste Promenade der ganzen Welt, das eigentliche Ziel unserer Reise. Das legendäre Martinez in Cannes. Hier beginnen wir unser 19. PHZH Magazin für Sie. Mit einem Besuch beim legendären Sternekoch Christian Sinicropi, im berühmten Restaurant La Palme d’Or. Later our journey took us through the untouched beauty and idyllic landscape of the Côte d’Azur's hinterland, straight to the magical blue coast. We kept having to get out and marvel because the breath-taking view of the gorgeous Mediterranean overwhelms you even in the best car. Our trip finally took us to the Croisette, probably the most famous and best known, but certainly most photographed promenade in the world. 03 Matthias Egon Seigerschmidt, Blogger/Producer: Mein name ist MES und vor keinen drei Jahren habe ich einen Fashionblog gegründet. Innerhalb von kurzer Zeit ist der Fashionblog schon fast zum stillstand gekommen weil sich neue Wege aufgetan haben. Das Realisieren von Editorialshootings sowie Fashionshows hat mir grosse Freude bereitet, da ich so Designern, Models, Fotografen, Hair & MakeUp und allen Modeinteressenten die Möglichkeit bieten konnte Erfahrungen und Referenzen zu sammeln. Dieses Jahr habe ich eine Fernsehsendung auf dem SSF namens VLOG mit ins leben bringen drüfen. Mein neuestes Projekt ist nun als Retailer zwischen Designer und Boutiquen zu fungieren. Was ich aber nach wie vor am liebsten mache ist meinen bekanntesten Blog weiterzuführen. Das T-Shirt. Und dieser Bericht ist nun ein Teil davon.

My name is MES and three years ago I started a fashion blog. Within a short time the fashion blog has almost come to a standstill because new avenues have opened up. The realization of editorial shoots and fashion shows has given me great pleasure, as I could offer designers, models, photographers, hair and make-up and fashion victims the opportunity to gain experience and references.

This year I took part in creating a live telecast on the SSF named VLOG. My latest project is now to act as a retailer between designers and boutiques. However, my passion lies in my blog, The T-Shirt.

04 Marco Rüegg, Fotograf: Wenn es um die Fotografie geht wird meine Leidenschaft geweckt. Durch das ständige Lesen und probieren habe ich meinen Weg gefunden. Was mich vor allem interessiert sind Gesichter. Ein Gesicht kann so viele verschiedene Ausdrucksstärken haben. Die Modefotografie deck hier grosse Bereich mit ab, welche meine Wünsche erfüllten. In meinem eigenen Fotostudio habe ich viele Möglichkeiten mich zu entfalten und an einem Outdoorset oder gerade auf dem Catwalk wird vieles von einem verlangt um ein perfektes Bild zu bekommen. Du hast hier nur eine Chance und die musst du nützen. Man muss sich einfühlen und auf die Probleme in der Umgehung eingehen um so eine vertraute Atmosphäre zu seiner Kamera zu bekommen und das Model so zu zeigen als wärst du im ihm im eigenen Studio. Ich liebe die Herausforderung für ein perfektes Resultat.

My passion for photography has always been strong. By constantly reading, learning and practicing the art, I found my way. I am particularly interested in faces. A face can have so many different expressions and can convey so many different emotions. Fashion photography covers a large area of that, which has allowed me to explore my passion. In my own photo studio, I have many opportunities to develop myself, at an outdoor set or on the catwalk, as there is a lot of demand to frame a perfect picture. You have only one chance and you need to make the most of it. You have to empathize and respond to the problems in the environment so as to get a familiar atmosphere. You must be flexible with your camera and the model and be able to work as if you were in your own studio. I love the chase for the perfect shot.

4 Perfektion bis ins Detail Perfection right to the smallest detail.

Eine glorreiche Geschichte passt zu einem Hotel, das schon immer im gesellschaftlichen Mittelpunkt von Cannes stand. Die Adresse 73, Boulevard de La Croisette, an der heute das Grand Hyatt Martinez steht, erlebte schon viele Verwendungen für dort liegende Gebäude. Hier stand ursprünglich die Villa «La Coquette», die von englischen Aristokraten während des Immobilienbooms des späten 19. Jahrhunderts erbaut wurde. Die Villa wurde vom König von neapel im Exil gekauft, der das Gebäude renovierte und zur «Villa MarieThérèse» erweiterte. In den darauf folgenden fünfzig Jahren war sie der gesellschaftliche Mittelpunkt von Cannes. Leider verblasste ihr Ruf und Glanz während des Ersten Weltkriegs, bevor die Goldenen Zwanziger Jahre einen neubeginn mit sich brachten. Weitere grosse Hotels entstanden damals an der Croisette, und so beschloss der Präsident der Société des Grands Hôtels de Cannes, Emmanuel Martinez, das Gebäude abzureissen und auf den Ruinen das grösste Hotel der Region zu bauen – das Hotel Martinez. Am 17. Februar 1929 wurde das Hotel Martinez, das grösste an der französischen Riviera, eröffnet, und eine neue Ära begann. Zwei Jahre später trafen sich die geschäftstüchtigen Hotelbesitzer von Cannes und fassten den Entschluss, im Sommer wie im Winter offen zu bleiben, und so wurde die Sommersaison eingerichtet. nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg wurde das Hotel Martinez zur Kulisse für zahlreiche Veranstaltungen und diese Tradition wurde bis heute weitergeführt.

Telefon mit Voice-Mail, Föhn, Safe, Klimaanlage und sind im Art Déco-Stil neu dekoriert. Die grösseren Zimmerkategorien verfügen zudem über einen Wohnbereich, bestehend aus Sofas und Sesseln.

RESTAURAnTS Das Grand Hyatt Cannes Hotel Martinez verfügt über drei Restaurants: «La Palme d'Or», ein gastronomisches Restaurant, das mit zwei MichelinSternen ausgezeichnet wurde, «Le Relais Martinez» und das Strandrestaurant «Z. Plage».

Durch seine ideale Lage mit Blick auf die Bucht von Cannes, seine hervorragende Küche und seinen exzellenten Service ist das Restaurant «La Palme d'Or» eine unvergleichliche Adresse für einen unvergesslichen Abend. Der Küchenchef Christian Sinicropi überwacht die Zubereitung.

«Le Relais» serviert traditionelle, vielfältige mediterrane Gerichte aus regionalen Produkten. Die Bar «L'Amiral» ist eine Institution: der Ort, an dem man sich in Cannes zu höchst kreativen Cocktails trifft.

Oder an den herrlich weiten Aussichten, hinaus auf das Mittelmeer. Cannes ist ein Mythos. Darum sind der Strand und die Strandpromenade das ganze Jahr der beliebteste Treffpunkt für Einheimische, Gäste und Stars. Cannes öffnet seinen Besuchern aber auch ganz andere Pforten, bietet eindrucksvollste Orte und Gegensätze: So liegen im Hafen Luxusjachten gleich neben Fischerbooten vor Anker. Die Provence „Die Provence“ gibt es geographisch gesehen gar nicht. Sie ist Teil einer riesigen Region. Denn seit 1956 ist das gesamte französische Festland in 22 Regionen unterteilt. Die Region Provence-AlpesCôte d’Azur (PACA) im Südosten Frankreichs ist eine dieser 22 Regionen. Die geographischen Grenzen der riesigen PACA-Region sind das Rhône-Delta im Westen, die hohen Gipfel der Hautes-Alpes im norden, die italienische Grenze im Osten und die Mittelmeerküste zwischen nizza und Marseille im Süden. Wenn man von „der Provence“ spricht, denkt man darum meistens nicht an Berge, zum Beispiel an den Mont Ventoux mit gar 1912 Metern, an die Strände am Mittelmeer oder an das im Hinterland der Côte d’Azur liegende zerklüfteten Mittelgebirge des Massif des Maures und des Massif de l'Esterel. Vielmehr hat man einfach nur das Bild von violett leuchtenden Lavendelfeldern, kleinen Bergdörfern und mediterranen Landschaften im Kopf. Südöstlich von Arles erstreckt sich die kahle Schotterebene der Crau mit Schafweiden und Reisfeldern. Zwischen den beiden Mündungsarmen der Rhône und westlich der Petit Rhône erstreckt sich die Camargue. Die grösstenteils aus schilfbewachsenen Sümpfen, flachen Strandseen sowie Salzflächen und Dünen bestehende Landschaft ist vor allem wegen ihrer vielfältigen Vogelwelt und ihrer halbwilden Pferdeherden berühmt. Hauptstadt dieser Region ist Aix-en-Provence. Weitere beliebte Orte sind Orange sowie die Hafenstadt Marseille. Die ursprünglichste Provence-Landschaft fanden auch wir auf unserer Reise nach Cannes in den beiden Departements Vaucluse und Bouches-duRhône sowie im Departement Gard.

300 Tage Sonnenschein im Jahr Zwischen der Küste, der Provence und den alpinen Regionen gibt es einen Temperaturunterschied von durchschnittlich sieben Grad Celsius. Das Klima an der Côte d’Azur ist mediterran, das heisst es gibt milde Winter und heisse Sommer. Die Temperaturen im Sommer übersteigen im Verlauf des Tages sehr oft die 30-Grad-Marke. Die nächte sind oft angenehm warm bei 20 Grad Celsius. Die Berggipfel der Seealpen liegen dagegen bis weit ins Frühjahr hinein unter einer dichten Schneedecke. Die nördlich an die Côte d’Azur angrenzenden Gebirge bilden einen besonderen Schutz vor den Stürmen, die vom Atlantik her nach Osten übers Festland ziehen. An der Küste herrscht deshalb ein besonderes Mikroklima, das für sehr milde Winter sorgt. Und dann gibt es noch den Mistral, ein aus dem Rhône-tal kommender kalter Fallwind, der alle Wolken vertreibt und einen strahlend blauen Himmel zurücklässt. Kehrseite: In Windeseile können die Temperaturen um rund zehn Grad fallen.

Für den Puristen beginnt die Côte d’Azur bei Menton an der italienischen Grenze und endet bei St. Tropez und nicht etwa bei Marseille.

Die Lage der «blauen Küste» Beim Versuch, die Côte d’Azur geografisch einzugrenzen, scheiden sich die Geister. Das Kerngebiet umfasst einen zirka 120 Kilometer breiten Küstenstreifen, der bei Menton an der italienischen Grenze beginnt und bei St. Tropez endet. Manche bezeichnen sogar die gesamte Strecke zwischen Menton und Marseilles als Côte d’Azur, doch das geht Puristen zu weit.

Internationale Filmfestspiele von Cannes Die Internationalen Filmfestspiele von Cannes – für die Filmindustrie auf der ganzen Welt ein bedeutendes Ereignis – finden jedes Jahr in der zweiten Maihälfte statt. Das Festival fand erstmals 1946 statt. Die Filmfestspiele haben sich rasch zum Festival mit der höchsten Medienpräsenz entwikkelt und dank der vielen angereisten Stars wurde aus dem Ereignis mit dem guten Ruf schon bald eine Legende.

Schilf oder Palme (Cannes kommt ursprünglich vom lateinischen «Canna» und bedeutet eigentlich «Schilf». Doch in Cannes selbst spricht man lieber vom «Palmwedel». Mit der Goldenen Palme (französisch Palme d’Or) wird bei den jährlich veranstalteten Filmfestspielen von Cannes der beste Langfilm im offiziellen Wettbewerb prämiert. Sie gilt, noch vor dem grossen Preis der Jury, als wichtigste Auszeichnung des Festivals. Das Motiv wurde, wie dies auch beim Goldenen Löwen der Filmfestspiele von Venedig oder dem Goldenen Bären der Berlinale auf die jeweilige Stadt bezogen der Fall ist, aus dem Stadtwappen von Cannes entnommen.

Cannes has remained normal and is still a city of luxury. Cannes is, above all, also the city of stars and simultaneously the cinema capital of the world. Cannes gains international fame in particular when the international film festival is held. The wealth of the city is, however, not limited to that. The history of the city is dominated by a special identity.

The third biggest city of the region after Nice and Antibes, today offers many tourist and cultural activities in addition to the sun. The trip to Cannes alone is probably one of the most beautiful trips one can have because nowhere on the Cote d'Azur does the marine blue have such an intense effect as on the Esterel-Massiv, just outside Cannes. At the Pic du Cap Roux, here the nearly 500 metres of rock competes with the blue of the coast. You simply have to stop here, even if you are driving the new S-Class from Mercedes-Benz!

We also found the most original Provence landscape on our trip to Cannes, in the two Departements of Vaucluse and Bouches-du-Rhône as well as in the Gard Vaucluse Departement. This is also the location of the most beautiful landscapes in Provence: the Luberon, the Vaucluse-Plateau and the region where the Rhône and Gardon converge.

"Provence" does not actually exist geographically. It is part of a huge region. Because the entire French mainland has been broken down into 22 regions since 1956.

The Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur (PACA) region in the southeast of France is one of these 22 regions. 300 days of sunshine a year Between the coast, Provence and the alpine regions, there is a temperature difference of seven degrees Celsius on average. The climate on the Côte d’Azur is Mediterranean, which means that there are mild winters and hot summers. The temperatures in the summer very often exceed the 30 degrees threshold during the day. nights are often pleasantly warm at 20 degrees. The mountain peaks of the Maritime Alps, however, are covered by a thick layer of snow well into the spring. The mountains bordering the Côte d’Azur in the north form a special protection against storms, which come from the Atlantic to the east over the mainland. That is the reason for the special microclimate on the coast, which ensures very mild winters. Then there is the Mistral, a cold autumn wind from the Rhône valley, which disperses all clouds and leaves a shining blue sky behind.

On the downside: temperatures can drop by about 10 degrees in a matter of minutes.

For purists, the Côte d’Azure begins at Menton on the Italian border and ends at St Tropez and not in Marseille.

Reed or palm tree (The name Cannes originally comes from the Latin canna which means reed but in Cannes itself, people prefer to speak of palm leaf. Burgund versus Bordeaux Von allen grossen Weinbauregionen der Welt gilt das Burgund sicher als eine der ungewöhnlichsten und vielleicht auch undurchsichtigsten der Welt. nicht selten wollen vor allem Weinkenner oder Gastronomen mehr über das Burgund wissen, schrecken dann aber zurück, weil man gar nicht so recht weiss, wo man beginnen soll. Darum halten wir es im Park Hyatt Zurich Magazin wie immer einfach und konzentrieren uns erst einmal auf einen Vergleich! Der Vergleich zwischen Burgund und Bordeaux. Gleich vorweg: Im Burgund ist alles anders als im Bordeaux-Gebiet.

Es ist rund zehnmal kleiner und liegt fast 500 Kilometer östlich, rund zwei Stunden von Paris, zwischen Chablis im norden über die Côte d’Or, bis zur Côte Chalonnaise und dem Maconnais bis zum Beaujolais im Süden. Ein grosses Gebiet und darum verdichten wir es noch einmal, auf das eigentliche Herzstück: die Côte d’Or, ein 55 Kilometer langer Streifen zwischen Dijon und Santenay mit der Stadt Beaune im Zentrum. Zusammengefasst: Die Unterschiede sind Welten. Es ist zum ersten ein ganz anderes Klima, das atlantische in Bordeaux, das fast schon etwas kontinentale in Burgund, zum zweiten der andere Boden, dann vor allem die unterschiedlichen Rebsorten: Merlot und Cabernet-Sauvignon in Bordeaux, Pinot-noir und Chardonnay in Burgund. Und ein anderer Schlag Menschen.

Menschen, welche stark mit der Region und ihrem Boden verwurzelt sind. Darum ist der name des Winzers im Burgund noch wichtiger als die eigentlichen Weinberglagen, welche er pflegt und anhand derer er den entsprechenden Wein keltert.

Olivier Bernstein war – bevor er zu einem der erfolgreichsten Winzer der neueren Zeit im Burgund wurde – Spezialist für Zugtechnologie.

Seine Familie ist Eigentümer des weltbekannten «Bärenreiter» Verlages, welcher durch den Vertrieb von Partituren bekannt wurde. Gedruckte noten, von Komponisten wie Bach, Mozart oder Schubert.

Wie diese grossen namen der Musik wollte Olivier Bernstein ein Künstler im Bereich Wein werden und startete seine zweite Karriere erst in Südfrankreich. Im Languedoc-Roussillon, erzeugte er 2003 seine ersten grossen Weine, bevor es ihn schliesslich durch die Leidenschaft zum Pinotnoir ins Burgund gezogen hatte. nach einem kurzen Praktikum bei Henri Jayer, der grossen Legende Burgunds, und nach einem nur einjährigen «Praktikum» in Weinbauund Kellertechnik in Beaune begann er im Jahre 2007 seine eigene Weinerzeugung an der Côte d’Or. Dabei kaufte er weder Trauben noch «Moste» oder fertige Weine, um diese nach seinem Geschmack lediglich auszubauen. nein, Olivier Bernstein legte von Anfang an viel Wert darauf, den Wein komplett und von Grund auf selbst zu produzieren. Das heisst vom Rebschnitt über die Lese und den Ausbau bis hin zur Abfüllung im eigenen Keller.

Dabei zeichnet ihn bis heute die Perfektion in allen seinen Schritten aus. Der Einsatz moderner Technik kombiniert mit Traditionen und bestem Traubenmaterial sind das Geheimnis der Elixiere eines Menschen, der nichts dem Zufall überlässt.

Olivier Bernstein bewirtschaftet seine Parzellen in Pachtverträgen – wie er diese ausgehandelt hat, bleibt sein Geheimnis... – Spitzenlagen in Grand Crus-Gebieten wie Clos Vougeot, Clos de la Roche, Bonnes-Mares, Charmes-Chambertin, MazisChambertin und Chambertin Clos de Bèze.

In Languedoc-Roussillon, he created his first great wines in 2003 before he finally moved to Pinot-noir in Burgundy, following his passion.

First up: everything is different in Burgundy compared to the Bordeaux area. It is about ten times smaller and is nearly 500 km to the east, about two hours from Paris, between Chablis in the north – via the Côte d’Or to Côte Chalonnaise and the Maconnais – all the way to Beaujolais in the south.

The range comes in three sizes: Toro (5 ½ inches; 54 RG); Robusto (5 inches; 50 RG) and Short Corona (3 ¾ inches; 46 RG).

The new range was very well received by aficionados who had a chance to experience it. In a blind taste test conducted at the Art Of Smoke in Germany, Davidoff Nicaragua ranked as one of the five best cigars ever tested across all tobacco origins and blends. »One of the best cigars I’ve ever smoked. The cigar would be a regular in my humidor,« reveals a participant of the taste test carried out by Art of Smoke.

The experience starts off with white peppery notes, joined by typical Nicaraguan stimulation at the back of the palate. In the second third, the cigar starts changing, growing milder, alongside the appearance of an enjoyable sweetness. The aroma becomes milder, and flavours of roasted coffee beans and dark, bitter chocolate make themselves known. The cigar develops a creaminess at the end of the second third.

During the last third, the cigar keeps building on the second third, delivering growing excitement and balance, thus becoming the kind of experience that only Davidoff can create. Time filled beautifully.

Dazu noch mein Lieblingsbleistift, und ich hatte alles, was ich zum Zeichnen brauche.» um auch winzige Details festzuhalten und die Farbenpracht der bilder richtig geniessen zu können, verfügt das Xperia Z ultra über ein extragrosses Full-HDDisplay (1920 × 1080p, 342 ppi) mit einer Diagonale von 16,3 cm (6,4″). Der triluminos-bildschirm mit der neuen X-reality Engine für smartphones sorgt für brillante Farben, und das opticontrast-Panel ermöglicht auch bei direktem sonnenlicht noch einen klaren blick auf den bildschirm. Des Weiteren besticht das smartphone durch sein 6,5 mm schlankes omnibalance-Design und gehört mit gerade mal 212 Gramm Eigengewicht zu einem der leichtesten telefone seiner Klasse.

Within a few days’ time, he had created a picture that’s every bit as colourful as his home city. »This picture reflects the network that connects us with one another, with nature, and with everything that surrounds us. Each event influences every other like an endless chain reaction. That’s why I named this picture ›Velvet Ripple,‹« says Archan Nair about his artwork. »I love to sketch, to express myself and to experiment with colours, images and techniques. In this case, I began with sketches on the Sony app that’s preinstalled on the Xperia Z Ultra. Then I downloaded the Android app SketchBook Pro for the more demanding details. With that and my favourite pencil, I had everything I needed to create the sketch.« To also capture tiny details and to assure that users can fully enjoy the gorgeous colours of their pictures, the Xperia Z Ultra is equipped with an extra-large 16.3 cm (6.4″) full-HD display (1,920 × 1,080 p, 342 ppi). We were ourselves interested to see what the effect might be if different, real values are combined and then photographed. This work focused on people, of course. Shot by a tried-and-tested people photographer in select clothes of FABRYAN in probably one of the most beautiful hotels in Zurich, the Park Hyatt. The model was prepared with the highest-quality care lines and discreetly framed during the shooting with remarkable glass blowing art as well as unique jewellery of the luxury brand Lalique. The result surprised us because true values combined to a single, magically valuable moment. The moment when everything is right! Editor-in-chief: Wo sind ihre Wurzeln, Frau Piotaz?

Die Gründerin und inhaberin von «VAnitY the Art of beauty» und «VAnitY cosmetics», Jacqueline Piotaz, ist stets auf der suche nach neuen Möglichkeiten für die Jung- und Gesunderhaltung der Haut.

Durch Zufall stiess sie in der amerikanischen «Vogue» auf eine Geschichte unter dem titel «Michelle obama discovers the swiss Apple». Die amerikanische Präsidentengattin hatte also tatsächlich die Wirkung von schweizer Äpfeln entdeckt? Was damit wohl gemeint war?

Jacqueline Piotaz: ich wurde im Wallis geboren, in einer herrlichen region der schweiz, die – wie das Engadin – inmitten von hohen berggipfeln liegt. Diese einmalige Landschaft hat mich stark geprägt und mir ein ausgeprägtes traditionsbewusstsein vermittelt, verbunden mit einer starken Verwurzelung mit der natur. Als junge Frau erlebte ich fast drei Jahre das swinging London und wurde später in Zürich vom international tätigen unternehmen McKinsey geprägt. Als Purserin, Flight Attendant und beauty-instruktorin bei der swissair lernte ich viele Menschen, Länder und Kulturen kennen und lieben.

Gemeint war nicht der Apfel generell, sondern eine spezielle sorte: der uttwiler spätlauber aus der ostschweiz, von dem es nur noch etwa 20 bäume gibt. Was diesen Apfel besonders auszeichnet, ist, dass seine Haut im Frühling noch genauso frisch und glatt ist wie im Herbst bei der Ernte – dank Pflanzenstammzellen, die auch für die menschliche Haut genutzt werden können.

Jacqueline Piotaz verfolgte die technologischen Fortschritte in diesem bereich intensiv und überlegte sich, ob die substanz nicht auch noch in anderen schweizer naturprodukten vorkam. schliesslich wurden dieselben Eigenschaften auch in der Gamay-traube und der legendären (Walliser) Alpenrose gefunden. Die drei substanzen wurden so zur optimal aufeinander abgestimmten basis der «triple Plant stem cell Plus collection®» verarbeitet: eine innovative schweizer Kosmetiklinie.

Genauso hatte sich Jacqueline Piotaz immer schon ihre eigene Produktelinie vorgestellt: Eine Kollektion von Produkten, die man täglich in einer bestimmten reihenfolge anwendet, und somit die Haut genau das bekommt, was sie braucht. Ebenso wichtig wie die Wirkung ihrer Kosmetiklinie ist der Entwicklerin die klar nachvollziehbare schweizer Herkunft der rohstoffe in den Produkten und der schweizer Entwicklungs- und Produktionsstandort. «ich lege ganz bewusst grössten Wert darauf, dass alles, was mit meiner Kosmetiklinie zusammenhängt, wenn möglich aus der schweiz kommt», sagt Piotaz. By coincidence she came across a story in the American issue of »Vogue« entitled »Michelle Obama discovers the Swiss apple«. Did the wife of the US President really discover the effects of Swiss apples? What does that mean?

What were meant were not apples in general but one particular variety: the Uttwil Spätlauber, which is very rare today. It is known for its exceptional capacity to keep for long periods. As the apple could be stored for a long time without becoming shrivelled or losing its flavour and texture, it clearly had special ingredients and especially long-lived stem cells.

Jacqueline Piotaz did extensive research whether this technology could be found in other natural Swiss products. The special extract was found in the apple, grape and Alpine rose and became the basis of the »Triple Plant Stem Cell Plus Collection®«, an innovative Swiss cosmetic line.

Editor-in-Chief: Where are your roots, Ms Piotaz?

Jacqueline Piotaz: I was born in the Valais, a magnificent part of Switzerland which, like the Engadin, is surrounded by high mountain peaks. This unique landscape shaped me and instilled a keen sense of tradition in me and also resulted in my close affinity with nature.

As a young woman I spent almost three years in the then swinging London and worked at the international company McKinsey in Zurich.

As a purser, flight attendant and beauty instructor at Swissair I got to know many people and learned to love a number of different countries and cultures.

Jacqueline Piotaz: The idea of using the riches of Switzerland’s nature and bio high technology for the benefit of a timeless beautiful skin matured during my 25-year career in the world of cosmetics, in my own »VANITY the Art of Beauty« stores and also in my capacity as CEO and owner of »VANITY Cosmetics« – a distribution company for highquality international cosmetics ranges in the professional segment.

Editor-in-Chief: So with your own 25 years of experience at »VANITY« you arrived at your own cosmetics product?

Jacqueline Piotaz: Exactly. The daily work at »VANITY Cosmetics« showed me that there was a market niche: products for customers who want to pamper their skin with an exclusive range »simple and smart« using the very best Swiss quality. Each of my luxurious formulas contains a precious combination of three plant stem cell extracts, based on apple, grape and Alpine rose which in order to increase the efficacy is supplemented with active complexes and further high concentrations of ingredients.

Quelle der Inspiration Urlaub muss doch eigentlich bereits mit der Anreise beginnen. Dies gelingt umso besser, wenn die Anreise in der neuen S-Klasse stattfinden kann.

Provence Cycling Paradise Das Provence Cycling Paradise ist fester Bestandteil der Domaine de la Coquillade und liegt mitten im Luberon. Das Fünfsterne-Resort ist damit der ideale Rückzugsort vor und nach erbrachter sportlicher Leistung und lädt die Gäste dazu ein, die Gegend um den Luberon mit den eigenen BMC Bikes zu erkunden. BMC produziert in der Schweiz die ersten maschinell hergestellten Karbonrahmen, die «Impec» heissen. Der name steht für «fehlerfrei». Dem Credo von Andy Rihs!

Das Hotel Die Auffahrt ist wie die Fahrt in eines der vielen traditionellen Dörfer. Das Fundament ist ein alter Weiler. Die Häuser aus beigem Sandstein, sind wie Schachteln zusammen gewürfelt. Dazwischen nur kleine Gänge, Gärten und Terrassen. Der Innenausbau präsentiert sich modern und äusserst stil-sicher. Die grossen Terrassen bei Restaurant und beim Pool werden von grossen Segeln überspannt. Sie wirken leicht und luftig und lassen die sanfte Brise durch.

Die Küche ist ambitioniert, so dass das Hotel sogar von der französischen Tourismusbehörde den fünften Stern und und zugleich für das Restaurant «Le Gourmet» einen vom «Guide Michelin» erhielt.

Das Magazin «Geo Saison» wählte La Coquillade gar zum besten Landhotel Europas.

Um die Domaine blüht der Wein auf über 42 Hektar eigenem Land. Alles eingebettet in eine herrliche Landschaft aus unendlichen Wäldern und Wiesen.

Die «Coquillade» ist zuallererst der perfekte Ort für ein paar Tage der Musse. Ein Ort für das Auge. Ein Ort für Spaziergänge durch Wälder und Reben.

Der Wein, nach Winden benannt Im Herzen der insgesamt 42 Hektare grossen «Domaine de la Coquillade» befindet sich der 22 Hektar grosse, eigene Weinberges. Zusätzlich werden 16 Hektaren von umliegenden Flächen eingekauft und vinifiziert. Heute wird hier ein prämierter Wein namens «Aureto» angebaut. Dies ist nur dank einer komplett eigenen, vollintegrierten Produktion, inklusive einer eigenen Önologin möglich. Damit wird nichts dem Zufall überlassen. Von den Reben bis zur Abfüllung! Auf den bemerkenswerten Böden des Luberon passen sich die vom Winzer sorgfältig ausgewählten Rebsorten perfekt an die Umgebung an. Die Appellation d'Origine Protégée stellt 70% und die Indications Géographiques Protégées stellen 30% der 8 bis 15 Jahre alten Reben dar, die im Jahre 2010 etwa 120’000 Flaschen Weisswein, Rosé und Rotwein ergaben.

Mit den neuesten Weinen der Aureto-Linie hat Werner Wunderli, General Manger der Domaine de la Coquillade, einen modernen Wein-Stil vinifiziert.

Sie duften manchmal nach Himbeeren und frischen Kräutern, sind seidig und elegant im Gaumen, immer mit einer angenehmer Fruchtsüsse. Die Aureto-Weine – 2 Weisse, 2 Rosé und 5 Rotweine – decken das gesamte Specktrum ab und können zu leichten Speisen wie Geflügel oder zu mittelkräftigem Käse, wie auch zu einem schönen Stück Fleisch gereicht werden.

The cuisine is ambitious, which means that the hotel was even awarded a fifth star by the French tourism association along with one from Guide Michelin. The Geo Saison magazine even chose La Coquillade as the best rural hotel in Europe. The wine flourishes on more than 42 hectares of its own land around the domaine. All of this is embedded in a gorgeous landscape of endless forests and meadows. The Coquillade is, above all, the perfect location for a couple of days of leisure. A place for the eye and a place for walks in the woods and vineyards.

Provence Cycling Paradise Provence Cycling Paradise is a fixed component of the Domaine de la Coquillade and is located in the middle of the Luberon. The five-star resort is therefore the ideal place to withdraw before and after sport and invites guests to explore the area around the Luberon with their own BMC bikes. Without any stress of winning, you can cycle through the «Parc naturel régional du Luberon» or around the Mont Ventoux, the holy mountain of the Celts and the Tour de France. Sports enthusiasts can also test their endurance there or try out a Tour de Plaisir. The Provence Cycling Paradise is supported by BMC. The company, established in 1968 by the American Bob Bigelow experienced an upswing thanks to innovations, but there was a lack of money. The wine named after winds In the heart of the 42 hectares large, «Domaine de la Coquillade», is the 22 hectare private vineyard. This is only possible thanks to complete, fully integrated production, including their own oenologist. nothing is left to chance here from the vineyards to bottling! On the remarkable soils of the Luberon, the grapes are carefully selected by the winemaker to adjust perfectly to the environment. The Appellation d'Origine Protégée represents 70% and the Indications Géographiques Protégées 30% of the 8- to 15-year-old vineyards that produced about 120,000 bottles of white wine, rosé and red wine in 2010. With the latest wines from the Aureto line, Werner Wunderli, General Manger of the Domaine de la Coquillade, has produced a contemporary wine style. They smell sometimes of raspberry and fresh herbs, always silky and elegant on the pallet, with a pleasant fruity sweetness. Tag 1: Mercedes-Benz Opening Gala Die Mercedes-Benz Fashion Days finden an 44 Spots in 22 verschiedenen Ländern statt und dank Marcel Guerry, Chef der Mercedes-Benz Schweiz AG, ist Zürich einer dieser Spots – das zweite Mal mit dem Stern. Um bei diesen vielen Spots nicht unter zu gehen und sich richtig zu präsentieren, braucht es schon mehr als nur ein paar berühmte Gesichter in der ersten Reihe. Das VIP-Zelt auf dem Turbinenplatz lud die geladenen Gäste zum Apéro vor der Show ein. Das Park Hyatt Hotel ist zum vierten Mal spezieller Sponsor der Mercedes-Benz Fashion Days und bietet im VIP-Zelt ein speziell zusammengestelltes Menü an. nun aber mal Richtig Catwalk. Sehr elegantes Parkett – weiss und angeschliffen samt Versiegelung und Politur direkt von der Firma Bauwerk Parkett. Mit einem Hauch von Goldglanz und mit einer grossen Faszination dafür, wie alte Seide im neuen Glanz erstrahlt, zeigen Felder Felder Ihre neue Kollektion. Gabriele Colangelo zeigte eine Mischung von Printmustern aus der natur und das italienische Flair des Mittelmeeres. Das Schweizer Label LBD WHITE zeigte das typische Schweizer Abendkleid mit der Extraklasse an Eleganz, das perfekt zu Zürich passt. Weisse Kleider, die goldige Elemente besitzen oder auch mal etwas transparenter werden. Prints wurden mittels Lasertechnik in den Stoff eingearbeitet. Modern, elegant und eine Klasse für sich.

Das Label Zien, angereist aus Polen, zeigte sehr futuristische Kleider, die aber durch ihre Schlichtheit mehr als nur in ein modernes einundzwanzigstes Jahrhundert passen. Ein gelungener Auftakt!

The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Days are now held at 44 spots in 22 different countries and thanks to Marcel Guerry who is Head of Mercedes-Benz AG in Switzerland, Zurich is a spot – now the second time with a star. In order not to be ignored among these many spots, but to present oneselve properly there needs to be more than a few famous faces in the front row. The Park Hyatt Hotel is an official supporter of the Fashion Days and does not only offer delicacies the VIP tent, but spoiled the guests at the same time each day with a different menu. But now towards the catwalk. Very elegant parquet – white and sanded along with polish and sealant directly from the company Bauwerk Parkett. There was less gold brilliance than I expected, but the old silk shines in new splendor: Felder Felder showed their new incredible collection. Gabriele Colangelo presented a mix of print patterns from nature and the Italian flair of the Mediterranean Sea. The Swiss label LBD WHITE offered the typical Swiss evening dress that fits perfectly to Zurich with the extra portion of elegance. White clothes with golden elements which sometimes become a little more transparent. Prints were also incorporated with laser technology into the fabric. Modern, elegant and a class of its own. The label Zie came from Poland and showed very futuristic clothes which were simple and elegant. All in all, it was a successful opening.

Tag 2: Annabelle Award Mercedes-Benz Fashion Days Zürich, Tag 2: Heute eröffneten zwei newcomer Designer der Schweiz den Annabelle Award. Kurz mit der Miss Schweiz, mit Clifford Lilley oder vielen anderen über den letzten Tag, über den heutigen recht „jungen und frischen“Abend zu reden, sich nach langer Zeit wiederzusehen oder gar neue Personen kennen zu lernen, ist doch gerade hier der Reiz. Schöne Menschen – tolle Kleider. Jeder, wie er sich fühlt; jeder wie er lebt; jeder, wie er wächst. Das sieht man auch bei den aufstrebenden Labels Seam und Pamb. Diese beiden Labels haben den Abend eröffnet. Sybille Kuhn zeigte ihr Label Seam zu Beginn. Ihre Kleider bestanden aus mehrlagigen transparenten Stoffen, die zum Teil eingeschnitten oder eingerissen wurden. Es ist schön zu hören, dass eine junge Designerin, die mit den berühmten St. Gallener Stoffen arbeitet, nun endlich einen Weg gefunden hat, nicht nur Einzelstücke anzufertigen, sondern mittlerweile Produktionsschritte abgeben kann und somit wieder mehr Zeit für das Designen bekommt. Pamp lässt endlich die Bombe platzen.

Wir Männer sehen heute zum ersten Mal auch Kleider für uns. Sanfte bis knallige Pastelltöne mit vielen Zickzack- oder Karo-Mustern. Die Seidenstoffe gemischt mit Wolle lassen den kühlen Winter schnell vorbeiziehen und werden uns Männer in einen zweiten Frühling schicken. Schick aber doch nicht zu locker – einfach frisch und jung. Die Damen kommen auch hier nicht zu kurz, überzeugen Sie sich selbst – ein Sommernachtstraum. nun wird es spannend.

Es geht um ein Praktikum bei der renommierten Designerin Anne Valérie Hash, die aus Paris kommt. Die fünf Finalisten Aurélie Sutter, Martin Spitaler, Miriam Laubscher, Sandra Marti und Stefanie Jäger zeigten, was sie gelernt haben. Fünf Looks wurden jeweils präsentiert. Leider kann nur einer gewinnen, obwohl ich ausdrücklich sagen möchte: Wir hier in der Schweiz haben Riesentalente. Dieser 10. Annabelle Award ist auf jeden Fall wieder das perfekte Beispiel dafür, dass wir die schweizer Talente fördern müssen. Herzlichen Glückwunsch Aurélie Sutter. Ich wünsche dir, dass du ganz viel Erfahrung sammeln wirst, denn in der letzten Show des Abends zeigte Anne Valérie Hash selbst ihre neuste Kollektion. Spätestens nach dieser Show war mal wieder klar, dass dieses Praktikum ein Segen sein wird. Ihre Mode ist sehr tragbar, habt aber doch das gewisse Etwas. Sehr gerade Schnitte mit weichen Stoffen wirken sehr zart und doch so kraftvoll. Haute Couture ist eines der schwierigsten Themen in der Mode, da diese Kleider sich durch ihre Exklusivität und ihren hohen Preis von der Masse abheben. Für den nächsten Sommer auf jeden Fall ein Trend. Trend ist ja auch, der Masse zu folgen. Man muss auf sie eingehen. Dies machte ich dann auch nach einem letzten kurzen Gang durch das Zelt und ging dann in die Park Hyatt OnYX Bar. Ein Barbesuch bietet zudem viele Gespräche und die speziell für diesen Anlass kreierten Fashion Cocktails, waren ein Genuss.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Days Zurich, day 2: Today two newcomers of Switzerland opened the Annabelle Award. After the greetings in the tent and a short talk with the Vice Miss Switzerland Sara Wicki, Clifford Lilley and many others about the last few days, about this rather “young and fresh” evening. It’s nice to hear that a young designer, who works with the famous St. Gallen materials, has finally found a way not only to make individual pieces, but to hand over production steps and thus gets more time for designing.

Pamb finally dropped the bomb. For the first time, we, as men, were presented with clothes for us. Soft to jazzy pastels with many zigzag or checked patterns. The silk fabrics blended with wool make the cold winter pass quickly and make us men experience a second spring. Stylish but not too casual – just fresh and young.

The ladies did not come off too badly either, see for yourself: a Midsummer Night’s Dream. Now, it’s getting exciting! It’s about an internship with the designer Anne Valérie Hash from Paris. The five finalists Aurélie Sutter, Martin Spitaler, Miriam Laubscher, Sandra Marti and Stefanie Jäger showed what they have learned. Each of them presented five designs. Unfortunately, only one can win though. I would like to expressly say that here in Switzerland, there is a huge amount of talent. This 10th Annabelle Award is definitely the perfect example that we need to promote Swiss talent. Congratulations, Aurélie Sutter, I wish that you will goin a lot of experience, because in the last show of the evening Anne Valérie Hash herself presented her latest collection. After this show, it was once again clear that this internship will be a blessing. Her fashion is very wearable but still has that certain something. Very straight cuts with soft fabrics look very delicate and yet so powerful. Haute Couture is one of the most difficult issues in fashion, because these clothes are – through their exclusivity and their high price – a stark contrast to mass production. Next summer it will definitely be a trend. It is also a trend to follow the mass. You have to adapt to it. I did it and made a final short walk through the tent. Then I went to the after show party in the Park Hyatt Bar Onyx. Moreover, a stop in a bar opens up new conversations.

Welcome to row 3 on the third day. I was interested how 10-15 people can change the hair in just a few minutes from one look to another. This only works with a strong team. Do you know how much hair spray will be used during the four days of Fashion Days? Approx. 150 bottles! Smashbox is just as extreme in its make-up and above all manages the same stress. There is so much going on backstage! Without the many tireless volunteers this event would be impossible. But let's now come to today's fashion. Marc Stone showed his SS14 collection which I could already watch in Berlin at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. But what I noticed was that he spontaneously used the opportunity to combine his looks in a different way. His inspiration for the collection comes from fossils and nature. So the wooden catwalk was very fitting.

Monochromatic outfits in earth tones seemed very harmonious. The Swiss menswear label Marc Stone has definitely made a name for itself in the international fashion scene so that it participated at the international show day along with Cushnie et Ochs from the USA, Frankie Morello from Italy, and Pepa Salazar from Spain . On this evening one thing became clear: international fashion does not sleep. They showed themselves more bold and extravagant than Switzerland. Pepa Salazar showed that men can still wear skirts. Frankie Morello proved that colors like gold and silver may also be combined and Cushnie et Ochs showed how strong architecture/art in the prints and cuts influence the next spring/summer. This great evening was then rounded off with the Friday Fashion Party.

Tag 3: International Style Willkommen in Reihe 3 am Tag dritten Tag. Mich hat es heute interessiert, wie ein Team von 10-15 Personen es schafft, meist in nur wenigen Minuten von einem zum anderen Haarlook zu wechseln. Dies ist nur möglich dank eines starken Teams. Wisst ihr, wie viel Haarspray während der vier Tage der Fashion Days Backstage benutzt werden? Ca. 150 Flaschen. Smashbox hat mit dem Make-Up auf jeden Fall den gleichen extremem Aufwand und vor allem den selben Stress. Ohne die vielen Volunteers wäre so ein Event gar nicht möglich. nun aber zur Mode. Marc Stone zeigte seine SS14 Kollektion die ich schon in Berlin auf der Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week sehen durfte. Was mir aber auffiel war, dass er die Chance spontan genutzt hatte, seine Looks anders zu kombinieren.

Seine Inspiration für die Kollektion kommt von Fossilien und der natur. Da war der Holz-Catwalk sehr passend. Einfarbige Outfits in Erdtönen wirkten sehr harmonisch. Das Schweizer Männer-Label Marc Stone hat sich auf jeden Fall einen namen in der internationalen Modeszene gemacht, weshalb es auch heute am internationalen Showtag zusammen mit Cushnie et Ochs aus den USA, Frankie Morello aus Italien und Pepa Salazar aus Spanien lief. An diesem Abend wurde eines klar: Das Ausland schläft nicht. Mutiger und extravaganter als die Schweiz zeigten sie sich. Pepa Salazar zeigte, dass der Mann nach wie vor Röcke tragen kann. Frankie Morello bewies, dass Farben wie Gold und Silber auch gemeinsam kombiniert werden dürfen und Cushnie et Ochs zeigte, wie stark die Architektur/Kunst in den Prints und in den Schnittenden nächsten Frühling/Sommer beeinflusst. Dieser grossartige Abend wurde mit der Friday Fashion Party dann abgerundet.

Tag 4: Swiss Selection Der letzte Tag der Fashion Days Zürich war wieder ganz in Schweizer Hand. Das Besondere an diesem Tag war, dass es gleich zwei Showblöcke gab.

Eine absolute Herausforderung im Backstagebereich. So viele Kleider auf recht kleinem Raum ohne Ordnung und genaue Koordination wäre so ein Showtag nie möglich. Zu Beginn möchte ich noch dem Label Van Bery zum nachwuchs (Baby) gratulieren. Es ist schön zu sehen, dass es trotz des Erfolges wie zum Beispiel mit der Lieferung des Kleids für die aktuelle Veet Kampagne oder dem ständigen Designdruck etc. noch Platz für die Familie gibt. Die aktuelle Kollektion von Van Bery ist wieder sehr dynamisch jung. Es weht ein Hauch eines Strandbesuchs im Rimini der 60er durch den Saal – echt schön. Laend Phuengkit’s Inspirationen kommen aus Afrika und Japan. Eine spannende Mischung mit viel Farben und sehr modernen, weiten Schnitten. Perret Schaad war recht mutig und zeigte, dass auch transparente Kleider luxuriös wirken können. Die Show von Toujours Toi & Family Affairs wirkte sehr lebendig, strahlt Wärme und Charme aus, was einen an private, familiäre Momente erinnert. Javier Reyes Kollektion ist sehr poetisch, luftig mit einem Hauch von Mexico.

Auch hier ist der Kontakt zur natur spürbar, vor allem wieder bei den einfarbigen Kleidern. Aziza Zina machte auf mich einen einfachen, künstlerischen Eindruck. Ganz nach dem Motto: „Less is More“ wurde hier gearbeitet. Asandri zeigte weniger Upcycling-Fell als gewohnt, doch der Luxus, welcher diese Marke versprührt, war an der Stoffwahl und in den sehr direkten Schnitten zu erkennen. Ein Label mit sehr viel Stärke in der Aufmachung. nun aber zu den letzten zwei Shows der Fashion Days, die mich wirklich beeindruckt haben. Das Label Berenik zeigte eine Kollektion, die sich mit dem Thema Feuer auseinander gesetzt hat. Stoff wurde abgebrannt, fotografiert und auf neuen Stoff aufgedruckt. Diese Showaufmachung wie die der Jungdesigner des Annabelle Awards (Miriam Laubscher) haben meiner Meinung nach, mit speziellen Showelementen beide für grosses Aufsehen gesorgt. Miriam Laubscher zeigt, wie sich ein Kleidungsstück durch die seln besonderen Schnitte auf dem Runway verändern kann. Jedes Model hatte zudem ein Licht im Mund, was für gosse Augen sorgte. Zurück aber zum Label Berenik. Was diese Show zugleich ausgemacht hat, waren speziell angefertigte Schuhe und Glatzenmasken aus Latex.

Auf den Schuhen war Puder, und als die Models über den Catwalk liefen, gab es Feinstaub, der an den Rauch des Feuers erinnerte, und zugleich lag ein Puderduft in der Luft. Alle Sinne waren angesprochen – ein Wow an dieser Stelle. Den grossen Abschluss der Fashion Days machte dann das aus St. Moritz stammende Label Good & Vitalini mit sehr eleganten Kleidern. Die Besonderheit war hier, dass die transparenten Stoffe bedruckt wurden und somit einen ganz neuen Effekt bekommen hatten. Wie es für eine grosse Modenschau gehört, wurde heute zum ersten Mal ein richtiges Brautkleid gezeigt. Was für ein Abschluss. Pompös und doch voller Zurückhaltung, so wie man die Schweiz kennt.

The last day of the Fashion Days Zurich was again completely performed by Swiss designers. A special day – it had two show blocks. An absolute challenge for the backstage area. So many dresses inquite asmall space – without organization and precise coordination a show day like this would never be possible. I would like to congratulate the Van Bery label for its offspring. It is nice to see that despite the success, for example delivering the dress for the current Veet compaignand the constant pressure for designing, etc., there is still room foor the family. The current collection of Van Bery is again very dynamic and young. There is a breeze of a beach visit in Rimini in the 60s blowing through the room – really nice. Leand Phuengkit’s inspirations come from Africa and Japan. An exciting mix with a lot of colours and very modern, wide cuts. Perret Schaad was quite courageous and showed that transparent dresses can also be luxurious. The show of Toujours Toi & Family Affairs appears alive, exudes warmth and charm and recall private moments. Javier Reyes’s collection is very poetic, airy, with a touch of Mexico. Again, the contact with nature is particularly noticeable in one color clothes. Aziza Zina left me with a too simple, artistic impression. True to the motto: “less is more”.

Asandri showed less upcycled fur than usual, but the luxury which this brand exudes was evident in the choice of material and the very straight lines. A label with a lot of strength in its presentation. But now to the last two shows of the Fashion Days that have really impressed me. The label Berenik showed a collection that has looked into the subject of fire. Materials were burned, photographed, and printed on new materials. This show itself was the only one like that of the young designer of the Annabelle Award (Miriam Laubscher). Miriam Laubscher shows how a garment can change on the runway by its very special cuts. Each model had a light in the mouth which caused a sensation. But back to the label Berenik. This show also made a difference by presenting specially manufactured shoes and bald latex masks. On the shoes was powder and as the models walked down the catwalk, there was a fine dust reminiscent of smoke and at the same time a scent of powder was in the air. All senses were affected – a “Wow” factor. St. Moritz’s label Good & Vitalini then closed the Fashion Days with very elegant dresses.

The special feature was that the transparent material had been printed and thus had a whole new effect. As befits a great fashion show, a real wedding dress was shown today for the first time. What a finish! Grand and yet full of restraint – typical for Switzerland.
