This is a development of limited service hotel within 332 room keys. The hotel premises is consisting of 8 storey building that is situated at a mixed used building. The Main Hotel Lobby is actually situated at podium level of the Mall premises. Despite the hotel is described as limited service hotel type, but according to the Hotel Operator design and planning manual, overall level of materials quality and other specified product shall comply with IHG level of design standard.

As Interior Designer in charge I was intensively involved from early stage of the project, start from design brief formulation, proposing conceptual design, making multi disciplinary design coordination with other consultant and specialist in projects, attending weekly meeting, attending site inspection during room mock up developments, making internal coordination with my team members in the office, attending Project Tender Meeting Session, attending project valuation meeting session and also involved in post contract activities as required by the Owner and Hotel Operator.

This is a development of 4 storey limited service hotel building within 160 room keys. I was assigned and fully on board as Interior Designer in charge for this project. As I have described in my first experience with Holiday Express Hotel in Jakarta, my first important duty is to identify all related Hotel Operator design, planning and technical standard manuals. Then, I was communicating this to the Owner Representative as the Project Investor to meet their design aspiration. Technically, all design and technical approval should be confirmed by the Project Director of IHG, but in fact we can not neglect any aspirations raised by the Owner that may not inline with the Hotel Operator’s design and planning standards. A swimming pool and Executive Suites is added to the hotel premises as requested by the Owner.

Actually, I worked on Holidays Inn Express Pluit Citygate Jakarta and Holiday Inn Express Raya Kuta Bali projects at the same time. Both projects was running in the same schedules.

I involved in this project when I was joining PT. EnviroTech Indonesia. My role in this project was overviewing the project as project and technical advisor to Project Designer and her dedicated team that provide tender design documentation for schematic design have provided by design principal from China. Also included in my role was providing mentoring session to young designers, architects and student intern who involved in this project regarding multi disciplinary coordination involving Singapore based project manager and MEP engineer.

The project is new development of five star hotel that is consisting of 228 guestroom and separated villas including semi open lobby areas, specialty restaurant, all day dining restaurant, ballroom, meeting rooms, swimming pool and musholla. The hotel is intended to be first hotel to be built and opened in Mandalika Beach sea at south end side of Lombok Island.

This is a five stars resort development on a 12 hectares cliff top site that directly facing to Indian Ocean at Uluwatu Bali. I have assigned for this project as Architect’s team member who worked on conceptual layout planning for typical villas under the direction of Paul Tavuzzi, the President Commissioner who is on board as Design Principal in this project.

My first duty was to carefully study the Hotel Operator’s planning and design manual, and identify all required facilities and amenities prior various villa layout schemes are initially generated. I worked closely with Project Architect and Design architects who assigned as dedicated team for this project. As part of my tasks was attending site survey and visiting several five star Hotels at Bali for design comparison purposes. During design process I was attending weekly design coordination meeting involving both Owner internal team and other Consultants. I was liaising with both Owner and Technical Advisor from the Hotel Operator to get initial approvals for each conceptual layout schemes have proposed for various type of Villa Unit. Once the initial approvals are confirmed, necessary technical coordination with another Consultant is proceeded accordingly, particularly involving the MEP Engineers.
