here’s pickled peppers, pickled eggs, pickled carrots, even pickled pigs feet. But pickleflavored vodka? Yep, and if you are a looking to add to your pickle palate, The Heart Distillery has released its own version of the savory spirit. In February, dozens of pickle-loving people attended the distillery’s pickle party to celebrate the release of its Pickle Shotz vodka. The concoction is a combination of the distillery’s house-made vodka infused with dill pickle and
three-pepper brine from the Fort Collins Pickle Company. The idea to create a pickle-infused spirit sprouted from the distillery’s connection with the Windsor Garden Center, Dustin Tanski, tasting room manager, said. “We have so many ingredients in our garden center that tie into something savory,” Tanski explained. “I then started using brine from Mykel, owner of the Fort Collins Pickle Company, to make pickle-infused vodka.
