Here we are approaching a full year since the full extent of the pandemic really started coming to light. In many ways, not much has changed, and in others a lot has. One thing is absolutely certain: we've come to view our homes as more than a living space.
We've become office-mates and classmates, home chefs and workout partners, and as our home lives have evolved, our need to create new spaces within have too. We need places to work, to practice self-care, to find quiet and be alone as well as places to come together again. Most of us are still figuring out what that looks like and we've found a few locals who can offer some insight. These may be things that permanently alter the way we look at "home," after all.
