Notcontentwithtwocollegedegrees,Janesisintheprocessof earningasecondMSinaccounting,whichheexpectstoearnby March2023.

AfterworkingfortheRE-1ValleySchoolDistrictaschieffinancial officer,JanesopenedhisownNew YorkLifeofficeindowntownSterling.TheofficewasrecentlyrecognizedastheLoganCountyChamberofCommerceBusinessofthe

Itwasn’tCOVID-19thathad the37-yearoldsuddenlyfighting forhislife:itwasGuillain-Barre syndrome.AccordingtotheMayo Clinicwebsite,it’sararedisorder whereyourbody’simmunesystem attacksthenerves.Theseattacks canmoveswiftlyandcaneventuallyparalyzetheentirebody,which happenedtoArmagost.
