Opened in 2024 by Sherry Bruce Smith, the Superior gallery was born from a desire to give local artists a platform, particularly those impacted by the Marshall Fire. “We became a meeting place to get together and talk about our art, our struggles to make ourselves create again and to share our collective ideas and hopes moving forward,” Smith said. Visitors are treated to a vibrant mix of fused and stained glass, oil paintings, mosaics, jewelry, handmade soaps, and more. One standout is a mosaic artist who used glass shards salvaged from her fire-damaged home to craft moving, oneof-a-kind pieces. Neighbors love browsing, connecting and discovering work from artists they know personally, making Arts Off Center a living example of how art heals and inspires.
