Located in the Freemasons Cultural Center, the Baird Wellness Center offers an array of cardiovascular and strength equipment, functional training, personal training and group fitness classes. Massage therapy and wellness workshops on mind, body and spirit are also offered.

Open daily, from 5 a.m. – 9 p.m. Staff are available Mon. – Fri., 7 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Sat., 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. Classes are also broadcast on MVTV.

Tai Chi is a martial art that utilizes gentle, flowing movements to enhance health in the body and the mind. Improve strength, balance, coordination and flexibility using the eight basic principles of the short 24-yang style form of Tai Chi. Taught by Certified Tai Chi instructors Jamie Rosenshine and Lydia Greinermiller.

A standing class with alternating intervals designed to increase cardiovascular and muscular endurance.

Want to burn 400-600 calories, improve your cardiovascular fitness, increase muscle tone and have fun exercising without impacting your joints? Try this 45-minute, 10-session indoor cycling class combined with 15 minutes of toning/core. Participants will climb hills, hit jumps and ride through valleys. Please bring two 5 to 10-pound dumbbells, workout towel, water bottle and yoga mat. All fitness levels are welcome.
