INFECTION RATES IN INDIANA COUNTIES BY RACE Next, we plotted the COVID-19 positive case percentage to examine how various racial groups fared in terms of infection rates among various counties. Figure 3 shows that the positive case percentages were similar among each racial group with some outliers. For example, Noble, Davies, and Cass counties had higher infection rates among Asians; Cass, Dearborn, and Posey county among Blacks; and Dubois, Fountain, and Henry counties had higher infection rates among their White populations.
