North Bridge stepped up to bat and knew they were in for a challenging time in the early overs as Henry bowled out a batter off his second bowl, Harrison bowled out 2 batters in a row and Joe’s deliveries resulted in catches and 2 run outs. It was a devastating bowling performance from PPS’s strong attacking line-up. North Bridge did settle and start to score some runs in the latter overs as some more inexperienced PPS bowlers put themselves forward to bowl. By the end of the innings North Bridge had scored 27 runs giving themselves a large target to reach in the second innings.

PPS started the second innings and got off to a solid start. The runs weren’t as free flowing as the first innings but there was still some good batting on display from Zane, Joe, Enzo and Roman. By the end of the innings PPS’s final batting score was 84 runs. An excellent number scored from 40 minutes of batting. North Bridge stepped up knowing they had a huge target to reach; they started well and were making more successful contacts with that bat, but PPS looked sharp in the field and communicated well. Their final score was 45 runs.
