Guides are experienced in environmental education and outdoor recreation, and are certified Wilderness First Responders. Partial scholarships may be available.

Mountain Biking

Gain skills to fly down the trail with confidence, conquer challenging terrain and exceed your expectations on your bike and beyond. Bring your bike or borrow one of ours! Bike Camping Adventure - July 29 - August 2

9am - 5pm Fee: $220 Course: 401301 Pick up at Matt Dishman Community Center and Carnegie Annex Enjoy 2 days of urban bike exploration and 3 days of camping. Visit Portland natural areas, learn commuter safety, route planning, and bike maintenance. Then experience bike touring with a supported bike ride to Stub Stewart State Park!

Backpacking Adventures

When is the last time you slept under the stars and watched the Milky Way move across the sky? Best of City Nature Camp - August 5 - 9

9am - 3pm Fee: $225 Course: 401295 Pick up at Carnegie Annex (2909 SW 2nd Ave) Spend the day on a beach where otters play. Climb to the top of an extinct volcano. Get lost in North America’s biggest city park, and hunt for crayfish and mussels in a creek. We will travel to 5 of Portland’s wildest places for fun & adventure.

Festival of the Birds
